Fit and Feature Description
Two outer pockets with a YKK water resistant zipper, and a flip out pocket hold the essentials, while the burly four-layer lower adds durability through the entire lower including the legs, knees, and seat. Contoured and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement. An outer D-ring and added attachment points give secure attachment points for pliers, tools and accessories.
Staying dry
Breathable 20,000mm+ waterproof rated DWR coated four layer polyester fabric combined with double taped seams bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are double taped a second time to keep the water where the fish are.
The new Session GD wading pants are up to 50% more breathable compared to previous models with exceptional abrasion and tear resistance and enhanced bonding strength for greater long term durability.

These pants are extremely comfortable, stylish and even allow me to drive comfortably while wearing them.
They are perfect waders for the small stream of NC.

So I was super excited to get these pant waders, i just received my chest waders. These would make a great pair for getting in and out od the kayak and just keeping myself dry. So I am a size 32×32 5’11 pretty average size guy, unfortunately there is no length 32 or size 32 hips thats comes with a size 10 or higher stockfoot. So my next best option is to buy and up to 36″ with 9-11 stock foot. So the stockfoot is perfect, but now i have size 36″ worth of material wrapped around my 32″ hips and they don’t necessarily look or fit like normal pants, which is what i was hoping for. So i hope Dryft makes a tall small, with stocking foot larger then a size 8. As of right now they fit like parachute pants.

I recently bought a pair of Session Wading Pants. The customer service was excellent. Nick answered questions about fit and durability. When I got the pants in a size Large Short I was very impressed by the build of the pants. With 5 layers of material these are extremely durable. They really feel more durable than my two pairs of Simms waders. The pants fit a little big, but I prefer having them larger so that I can squat in them and climb over things. They keep me warm in cold water and yet are very comfortable to walk in. I find the belt helps to keep them riding higher, and I purchased the suspenders which are great for keeping the pants hiked up. Once my Simms chest highs wear out I plan on getting a pair of Dryft Primo waders. I only wish the waders were made in the States. Thank you Nick for a great pair of wading pants.

I’ve been fly fishing for over 20yrs and have tried multiple brands of gear. Don’t get me wrong I have certain brands I love for certain reasons but my dryft waders have by far out performed my Simms by a long shot! I will never buy another pair of Simms waders …these waders are better in so many ways from comfort to style to longevity …my last pair of Simms didn’t make it three seasons without leaking and I paid double what I paid for my dryft waders. And yes I know how to care a store my waders, I’ll be going on season five with these sessions and they’re still as good as the day I bought them

These waders are legit! Used these everyday on a 9 day moose hunt in rain and snow. Waders held up great against willows, spiny rose hips, in and out of the boat and all the rest that Alaska has to offer. Thought the rise might be low when I tried them on but they wore great and the cut of these waders offers a lot of movement without being baggy. The belt is useless, but looks okay on my casual around town pants. Changed out the belt for a nylon web with a cam buckle and the system woks well. First stocking foot wader that I did not have perspiration in the foot area. Nice job Dryft change out the belt and these are a full on rock-star package.

I purchased a set of the session waders last year for destination ATV riding. They seemed to be the perfect use for pants that are completely waterproof and yet tough enough to withstand heavy abuse. These waders did not disappoint. I have waded mud bogs and fast moving rivers and had no issues. I love these waders. I just ordered a new set this week to provide more room for long underwear for winter riding. I would recommend these waders to anyone who does not want water to ruin your trip, no matter what you are doing in the outdoors. Most of my friends didn’t even know that I was wearing waders. Great product!

I ordered these wading pants for my Alaskan moose hunt that was scheduled for Sept. Despite having to wait to get my order filled this spring, these pants matched the reviews that I had read and exceeded my expectations. On a 11 day moose hunt in the Alaskan bush, I wore them every day due to rain and/or heavy dew. They kept me dry and withstood the brush and field hazards of the bush. No serious cuts all the way through or leaks. It is the best money that I have spent on waders/wading pants and the price was reasonable. I am anticipating that they will last many years.

This is my second purchase. This time it’s going to be the gift. To the best man I ever met. To the guy that took me on this journey, passing all his knowledge too me. Hopefully my dad will love his as much as I love mine. I do a lot of shore fishing. They are almost indestructible. Got my pair in spring 2019. They survived many fishing trips. There is only one thing that I would change. I could use nice pair of suspenders… They tend to slide down while climbing rocks and walking thru tough terrain.

These are excellent! Customer service (Nick) is fantastic!
I am 5’10” 200 lbs and wear 35/30 pants, size 9.5 shoe. I read some reviews that commented that these was tight in the crotch so based on that and the Dryft sizing chart I order the medium-long to try to get more crotch room. They arrived quickly but on trying them on it was clear that they were just too tight. I couldn’t wear pants with a wallet! I could squeeze into them with just thin long underwear. But I arranged to exchange them for large-short. Nick was OUTSTANDING in responding to my email and turning the exchange around.
The large-short fit me extremely well. There’s enough elastic in the waist together with the adjustable belt that there is no issue at all. PLUS! there’s plenty of crotch room. So I would advise others to size up if they are close to the upper end measurements of the sizing chart. I admit that I just didn’t want to consider myself a “large” but there you have it.
