Repair service

We can offer limited repair services through our repair partner, Rainy Pass Repairs, for many general wear and tear related problems. Not everything can be repaired. Most tears, pinhole leaks, straps and buckles and other general wear and tear items can be repaired. We cannot replace stockingfeet, but we can usually repair small tears and pinhole leaks in stockingfeet. Zippers can usually be replaced, but in many cases the cost of replacing the zipper outweighs the benefit. This especially applies to waterproof zippers as the cost is very high to replace them and if the item is nearing the end of its usable life it will likely not be cost effective to replace the zipper.

If you send your gear in for assessment we will always consult with you prior to doing any work. You can contact us for initial consultation and recommendations on whether we think your gear can be repaired or not.

Please read below for more information.

Receipt or proof of purchase must be included with all repair requests. We’re happy to help process a repair for you (link below), or we can put you in touch with a reputable repair shop if you prefer to deal directly with the repair shop.

We build our gear to last over extended periods of time, but eventually all waders meet the end of their life. For example, waders used by a fishing guide for 150 days a year will, by comparison, degrade faster than gear used by a weekend warrior. Regardless of amount of use, taking good care of your equipment will ensure a longer lifetime for your gear. Use your judgment when assessing whether your product will be repairable, whether it may be covered under warranty, or if it’s time to replace it. We know if can be hard to lose what has come to be a trusted friend, and we agree that it is sad when that day arrives.  Luckily, we know a place where you can get a deal on some great new waders and we hope to have the opportunity to provide you with some great new gear when the time comes.

Gear must be clean to be worked on

Clean and dry your gear before sending it in. Moldy, soiled or dirty gear cannot be worked on.
