The DRYFT Guarantee
We make great gear, and stand behind it with a great guarantee.
It’s simple; we guarantee all of our products to be free of defects in workmanship or materials. Items that are deemed defective will be replaced or repaired by DRYFT.
If the product is not repairable we may, at our discretion, choose to replace the product instead. Gear damaged through normal wear and tear, misuse, or neglect can be repaired when possible for a fee.
This warranty does not cover failure due to accidents, improper care, normal wear and tear of materials over time or damage caused by anything other than defects in material or workmanship. Mold or mildew, excessive dirt, oils, salt crust buildup, or heavy wear and tear may void warranty. Retail warranty covers the product for the original owner for the usable life of the product. This warranty applies to consumer use only and is null and void if the product is used in a manner it is not intended for. Warranty is limited, at our discretion, to the repair or replacement of the product only and may additionally be limited by the manufacturers warranty on components such as the YKK one year warranty on zippers. Receipt or proof of purchase must be included with all warranty claims.
First 30 days coverage
If you have a problem within the first 30 days of use we will replace the product at no charge to you. We will send you a replacement product and provide a return shipping label to send the original back to us. Please just email us with a description of the problem, including your order number, shipping address, product and size and we will take care of it for you.
Warranty processing fee
For anything after the first 30 days of use our standard warranty processing fee is $45, which covers assessment and processing of the item. Once this processing fee is paid we will send you a prepaid return label and the form needed to send your item to us. If you are in need please select the button below for instructions.
We can offer repair services through our repair partner, Rainy Pass Repairs, for many general wear and tear related problems. If you have gear that is need of repair contact us with details on your request and we will help process a repair or put you in touch with a reputable repair shop. Clean and dry your gear before sending it in. Moldy, soiled or dirty gear can not be worked on and will be sent back.
For repairs processed through our warranty program (by Rainy Pass), in some cases if the repair needed is extensive and requires intensive labor and materials then an additional charge may be required. We will always consult with you prior to doing any work that requires additional cost, and will contact you with options prior to starting any work. Not everything can be repaired. Please read below for more information.
We build our gear to last over extended periods of time, but eventually all waders meet the end of their life. For example, waders used by a fishing guide for 150 days a year will, by comparison, degrade faster than gear used by a weekend warrior. By taking care of your equipment you will ensure a longer lifetime for your gear. Use your judgment when assessing whether your product will be repairable, whether it may be covered under warranty, or if it’s time to replace it. We know if can be hard to lose what has come to be a trusted friend, and we agree that it is sad when that day arrives.
