These wading pants are excellent. I’ve been using them for a year now, and I love the material, the weight, the comfort, the storage, the price, and the seams have been solid. I only have one complaint – the feet on these things are huge! The medium long says it fits shoe size 9-11… Well, I guess they’re every bit of size 11, because I typically wear a size 9.5 – 10 shoe, but the feet on these are so big they get bunched up in my wading boots making them feel tight. (The boots are Orvis Ultralight size 11 that I had been using before buying these waders.) I’ll definitely be upsizing my boots a little when it comes time to buy new ones, but even with the booties bunched up they’re really not uncomfortable underfoot. I just worry that the seams might fail early on the neoprene from being so scrunched up in my boots.
It’s wonderful that Dryft offers so many options to get waist & inseam fit right, but I wish the foot size could be a little more dialed in!

Killer pants waders!! They are light, easy to get in and out of, and honestly, can’t be beat for the price! Nothing else really needs to be said.
I’ve owned the front zipped waders for a couple of years now, that I use solely for steelhead fishing and I have yet to have a problem with those waders.

Love these waders! Perfect for early season trips down the river. I hate wearing full waders just to launch the drift boat…this is the perfect solution!

Purchased the Session GD Wading Pants for Western PA trout season. It is mainly cold with higher streams this time of year. These waders have worked very well with extended used. They are TOUGH and with a good pair of wading pants underneath, very warm. I am 6’1″, 215 lbs. and size 12 boots. The XL fits perfect, however neoprene booties are a bit too big. Wading pants offer plenty of room to tuck in a few layers of shirts if you choose. Dual gravel guards are ingenious. Suspenders are a must regardless of the size of your belly. Do not recommend the suspenders on this site. They do not hold the waders in place long and come off. They should be discontinued. Helly-Hensen suspenders and are around same price and work fantastic. Highly recommend using the thicker belt provided along with suspenders. If you are using the included belt to hold any gear, the weight will sag the waders down, even with suspenders attached. I recommend a thicker, commando style belt for this. Blackhawk Web Duty Belt is excellent and what I use. The use of two belts is perfect. One to assist the suspenders and one for gear attachment. Very good waders and with this combo of suspenders and belts make them perfect. Customer service is excellent as well.

Tough as nails. These are my new goto waders. I just put around 15 miles of hiking the blueridge mountains in search of native brook trout and they performed flawlessly. I’ve used and abused them without any trace of wear and tear. Like all my other dryft waders I’m always surprised at what these things can take.

Bought these to replace my older waist high waders. So far so good! I haven’t used them very much yet. Liking them and no complaints .

Bought the Session wading pants September 2021, have worn 200 days fishing streams and hunting pheasants and waterfowl along rivers. Best fit I have had, and very miner repairs. Wads of barbwire are main culprit… The cuffs tore so I cut them off. I have 35″ inseam, 38″ waist and wear the LL. I will have to replace this spring. I would prefer with no pockets at all.

Had these for 2 seasons now , originally for fresh water.I have used them in salt water consistently for the last 2023 season. The seams are slid no leaks what so ever.
1-pockets start to leak at the zippers.
2- gravel guards somehow get sand inside the stitching by the band collar,I had to cut holes to get the sand out when drying… verry strange.
Overall good pants, but I do not recomend for salt water surf fishing. Great for streams&rivers.
