Fit and Features
The DRYFT S14 women’s waders feature adjustable straps, belt, and upper drawstring to customize the fit to your body. A heavy duty reinforced lower protects the parts of the wader that get the most abuse; the legs, knees, and seat. Contoured and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement. The durable and breathable four-layer lower from the waist down includes a single vertical seam design with seams running up the outside of the legs to eliminate seam abrasion when walking, while the lighter three-layer upper vents warm air and helps regulate temperature.
What about staying dry?
Breathable, 20,000+mm DWR coated waterproof nylon fabric combined with double taped seams through the lowers bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are triple taped a second time to keep the water where the fish are.

Wholeheartedly recommend these women’s waders! I did a lot of research before springing for a good pair, and I’m glad I chose Dryft. High quality crafted and solid materials. I’m 5′ 3″ and curvy, the XL fit me comfortably with not too much bulk and still enough to step, stretch and move in while fishing. The front pocket system holds plenty of stuff, too. And not that the fish care, but I like the black color–they stand out in a sea of khaki for sure.
I have experience the sensation of sweaty feet when using them for prolonged periods of time–to the point where I have wondered if water had gotten in–but an experienced angler told me that this was usual since the neoprene breaths differently, etc. She was right, my feet are dry after use.
Also, I wear a size 7 Korkers boots and size 8 Orvis Ultralight boots–these waders fit fine in both with the usual adjusting and slipping in that you always have to do in wading boots.
If you’re on the fence about which women’s waders to go for, I say do Dryft. Their customer service is also outstanding because it’s prompt, personable and genuine.

Great waders, good fit (based on feedback from six female habitat/fisheries crew members). When considering your size think inseam size as they run a hair on the short side (so order the longer set if in between sizes) but otherwise are roomy and fit significantly better than other women’s waders on the market from the major brands. Holding up well a few months into daily use in Western WA rivers. Belts and pockets are well liked. Kudos to Dryft for coming up with waders that fit all the hardcore women river runners around here.

They fit perfectly in the body, love the material. I used them at silver lake in the Sierra Nevada’s there was still snow on the ground, they helped keep me warm with layers. The only thing I’d change is how bulky the foot area is, two socks helped but then boots on top wouldn’t fit.

I ordered the bundle in size M waders and Jacket. I am 5’4 and 150lbs the waders fit perfectly but the jacket was a little snug with my fleece top underneath. It was easy to exchange for a size large jacket. Which ended up being a perfect fit.
I tested it out on the lake and it works really well. Stayed comfortable and it was surprisingly easy to move around in. The pockets are well positioned for what I need and I like the quality of construction. I probably will never need another pair as these seem to be so well made. I also love the buff, I use it for my hiking in cold weather with its dual fabrics to keep your neck warm while able to raise the single ply area over your head for added wind protection.

I just received my women’s S14 waders and used them for the first time winter fishing in SE Minnesota on a 24 degree day. I was comfortable in them for the 3 hours I was in the creek. I’m 5’5″ and 190 lbs. with a size 10 shoe and a bit busty. I ordered an XL via the sizing chart. Great fit on the feet, hips, waist. The are a hair long as I can pull up the waders to the top of my chest BUT the straps are short enough that I don’t have to worry about them slipping down. The little bit of extra length is okay because it made it easy to squat down, climb a steep bank or just pain sit down and get up. I only had one thing on my wish list. I was missing the D ring that was sewn into the right shoulder strap on my previous waders as that is where I attach my wading staff keeper to. I think I can add a carabiner to that area to solve the problem. Over all, I am very impressed with the fit, and quality of these waders and I plan on telling all my fishy friends both male and female about them. Oh, and they look cool too! I’m thinking of purchasing a pair of the wading pants as well.

New to fly fishing, I did a ton of research before choosing these waders. I’m 5’5”, plus size, and the search for inclusive sizing was daunting. I’m sick of sportswear companies that think only straight-size people enjoy the outdoors. So glad I came across Dryft!
I pulled the trigger on a 2XL-S during the Fall 2022 Sale. Got a chance to take them out before the big snow and a whole new world of fly fishing action opened up to me. The stream I typically enjoy is cold all year but stepping in off the bank, I didn’t feel a thing. No chill, no moisture. Perfect fit after a few strap adjustments. The material is strong and design is thoughtful. Also these look way more BA than the khaki waders commonly found on the market.
Customer service was great, received a sweet sticker for my water bottle and a sincere email from the owner thanking me for my business. I reached out shortly after purchase for boot suggestions and got a real human reply- and purchased the recommended boots (they worked out great too)!
Feels good to support a business that cares about the environment, nails customer service, and is in touch with real outdoor adventurers and their needs! 10/10 would recommend!

I, a 5’4” ~115lb girl, who is mostly legs ordered a Medium in the S14 Waders. Let me tell you they fit extremely well. I get cold very easy and was able to fit a thick pair of socks on my size 7 1/2 feet, thick leggings plus Sherpa lined sweatpants, a long sleeve shirt with a thick hoodie and coat. I still had plenty of room to move! I stayed very warm and for the first time actually had to shed some layers while on the water. The grips on the bottom of the feet are great and make me feel secure in my wading boots. Also the pockets are a great bonus as I could fit my phone, hand warmers, some gloves incase I needed them plus a few snacks for a day full of fishing! Also the cinching feature for women is great, it helps the waders stay up with a comfortable feet that is not restricting.

I’m a short xxl lady and up till now I’ve bought mens waders and just dealt with 2ft of extra material hanging off my knees. These Dryft waders fit like a dream and so many more nice pockets. We will see how durable they are. I just got them at the tail end of the steelhead season and haven’t put them to any real tests yet.
