Based on the popular Session wading pants the new lightweight Session Lite wading pants are your go-to option for your next quick and light fishing mission. The DRYFT Session Lite wading pant features lightweight breathable four-layer 100% waterproof and DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coated recycled nylon fabric, a minimalist design and the style to take you a notch above the rest.
Fit and Features
Two outer pockets feature YKK water resistant zippers and a flip out pocket hold the essentials, while the breathable and lightweight four-layer lower keeps you comfortable even on the warmest summer days. An updated and well defined fit is meant to accommodate lighter layering choices during spring, summer and early fall. Contoured and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement.

Staying dry
Breathable 20,000+mm waterproof rated DWR coated four layer recycled nylon face fabric combined with NoLeak™ double taped seams bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are additionally taped to keep the water where the fish are.
Recommended use
Pack in fishing trips, travel, and boat and walk and wade fishing. Recommended for three season use (Spring, Summer, Fall).

The Session Lite wading pants are perfect. Great fit and very comfortable when working the rivers or hiking to the next location on the river. With the appropriate insulation under the waders, it is not an issue to use in the Idaho winter months. The wading pants have been well woth the investment.

I’ve been looking for some waders for several years now, any waders that fit my shape, 5’7″ tall, 51″ chest and size 9 feet, a really difficult ask, especially as I have to order them online. I’ve so far tried and sent back four sets of waders. These, in a large short did the trick, socks still a tiny bit long but easily usable and the rest fit like my favourite pair of jeans, looked just as good too! Just put these to the test on first river trip. They performed excellent! I hate chest waders, these things were a joy fishing from a Kayak. Perfect for wading over the shoals going up stream. I am 155lbs at 5’8”. I ordered a small and medium to try. I like the way the small fit but the booties were to small for my size 9 feet, so had to go with the mediums. They are slightly more baggie than I would like, but way better than anything else out there. Thanks Dryft!

I’ve been looking at and reading reviews of wading pants for over a year now. I’m a big dude and get hot and sweaty when fishing in anything above 60 degrees, so I wet wade 80% of the time, and hate the thought of sweltering days in waders. I love fall fishing though, and my choices are either numb toes when wet wading or profuse sweating with standard waders. I found Dryft waders at some point during this search and as a small business owner in the fishing industry myself, loved the idea of supporting this company. I had my eye on the regular Session wading pants (I fish the small streams of SE Minnesota, so no need for chest waders), but when I saw the lightweight version was coming out, I decided to wait. I’ve only worn them around the house so far, but my first impression is that these are fantastic. They don’t weigh a whole lot more than the quick dry pants I wear to wet wade and sitting, crouching, etc. will not be an issue as the material is very thin. I love the grey color and the subtle markings that make these unique but not over the top, and as a bonus, they match my new Orvis ultralight boots perfectly. The stretch belt looks nice, but without the ability to be manually adjusted, I’m waiting to see how it performs. And, with any “lite” or ultralight product, there is the question of long-term durability that can only be answered with time on the water. I better get out there…
