Fit and Feature Description
Two outer pockets with a YKK water resistant zipper, and a flip out pocket hold the essentials, while the burly four-layer lower adds durability through the entire lower including the legs, knees, and seat. Contoured and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement. An outer D-ring and added attachment points give secure attachment points for pliers, tools and accessories.
Staying dry
Breathable 20,000mm+ waterproof rated DWR coated four layer polyester fabric combined with double taped seams bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are double taped a second time to keep the water where the fish are.
The new Session GD wading pants are up to 50% more breathable compared to previous models with exceptional abrasion and tear resistance and enhanced bonding strength for greater long term durability.

I’ve been a Simms wader guy for years however this may be changing! I’ve put close 30 miles of fishing in these within 2 months and absolutely love them! The material seems more durable then most waders, the seams are smaller and less bulky as well. Dryft waders allow for more mobility than other waist waders I have used. The ability to have full range of leg movement while wearing these waders is a huge advantage. The zippered pockets are great!! No more lost items! One of my favorite features would be the location these sit at the waist. No need to unbuckle and sliding the waders down to relieve oneself. Other waist waders I have used require them to be pushed down to gain access…. Dryft wins there for sure!! I fish over 200 days a year and will be report back on the durability of these waders. I’m 6’1″ and around 200lbs and the size large are a perfect fit. Thank you Dryft for a great fitting wasit wader!!!

The Session GD Wading Pants are exactly what I hoped for when I do not need to be wearing chest waders. The comfortable fit is perfect for me, there is enough room in the legs to maneuver over / around obstacles easily when required to get to that best fishing spot! The zipper feature is great and works just fine. The Quality and functionality of the Dryft GD wading pants is the best out and I highly recommend them!!!! The Session GD Wading Pants are exactly what I was looking for when I do not need to be wearing chest waders. The comfort is really great and there is enough slack in the legs to easily step over fallen trees when walking through the woods to the river. The fact that the gravel guard flips down over after hooking the bottom of the wading pants means no more issues with the guards becoming loose. The zipper feature is great and works just fine. The pockets and the d ring are also a nice plus. Super satisfied so far with these wading pants.

Finally got a chance to get these out on the water. Being my first pair of wading pants ( vs always just having waders ) I wasn’t sure how much I’d like using then over waders. All I have to say is wow! Perfect for those spring time warmer days where it’s not hot out yet. Fishing mid to small water I’ll use these every time now. Extremely comfortable and the fit is probably the best I’ve ever had. On my recent trip I was walking through all sorts of brush and bushes. Lots of prickly branches. Up and down steep banks over downed trees. And not a single leak. Not a single time did I feel constricted. Hands down my new favorite. My waders will definitely be getting less use this year!

What’s the use of having a zipper if there’s material behind the zipper that prevents urinating?

To keep water from coming through the zipper and into the waders. The guard flap is designed loose with extra material, so is not tight against the zipper and can easily be pushed down out of the way.

I do love this wader pant. The only issue I had was with the inseam. I ordered a small and a medium. Tried on the small, it fit great everywhere, except the inseam. I am 5’2″ and it was a tight fit! The medium was better in the inseam (still could be a little bit more room) but the overall fit was slightly bulky.
Wore these for 2 weeks straight floating the Kanektok river in Alaska and they worked fabulously!

Just took these on a 13 day remote float in Western Alaska. we had 10 days of rain and these waders worked perfectly. I love the fit and durability of my LL session waders. My only slight issue is that the gravel guard and outer guard are a bit tight on me. sometimes difficult to pull them over my size 13 boots. other than that – they are everything I wanted them to be.

I have used these waders a half dozen times in two months. The fabric is super durable and the pockets are great. the fly system works really well. But the best thing about the waders are the size selection. By Dryft’s selection chart, I am a medium long. I have always had to buy large in other waders so they were tall enough. The size fit exactly as advertised and they are the best fitting waders I have ever had. I also like that a belt is provided too.
