Some reviews from the past…

Travis Shipe (verified owner)  This is an update from a purchase in April 2016. About three seasons in. You could say they have seen the water for 5 seasons as much as I fish compared to my peers; a good 30 outings a year. The only visible wear is the bottom of the gravel guards are frayed, (boot lace strap to hold them down still works great) and the black tape that covers the seam in the neoprene booties is slowly peeling away. Just normal wear and tear. Other than that, they look brand new. They do not leak. The zipper does not leak. Not one seam leaks. I go through all kinds of brush, sit on rocks, kneel in the water. Anything. They are very well made. You will know when you get them that they are solid. They are no different in the summer from my old lighter pair from Cabelas that ended up leaking in the crotch after two years. When (If?) these waders fail, I will buy another pair. I’m glad to see there are more reviews. Three years ago I was only 1 out of 4. I love using that zipper on the creek!. You will not be sorry to buy these! Except three years ago they were 350$!!

Ross (verified owner)I have been wearing the Primo on cold winter trips, high water days, and full day hike trips since right around the time Dryft released them. They have always functioned perfectly and the features make fishing fun and easy. However, on my most recent trip, I went down full submersion on a river crossing twice with a backpack and two flyrods in hand in waist deep current. With my wading belt and the top drawstrings tight, I made it to the river bank without any gear loss, stripped to dump my waders and discovered that I had only taken on enough water to soak my pants about halfway down. I threw the pants in my pack and continued to fish for 5 hours without any issue. Excellent design, durable function, and in my opinion, the best waders on the market for those who fish hard.

Matt Danz (verified owner)  Bought these Dec. 2018. I love these waders. I have only used them a handful of times and can’t speak to any warranty or how long they will last. I’ve used Hodgman, Allen, and various Cabelas brands in the past. I was having a hard time thinking of having to spend $700/$800 for similar types of waders before hearing about Dryft. I have several buddies in the fishing industry that have Dryft waders and they all had great things to say about them. I appreciated the higher level of sizing options so you aren’t stuck with the “standard” medium, large, xl, etc… a lot of times leaving extra material in legs, feet, or chest for more of a one size for all. The boot fit is great. The inseam allows for bending over and sitting without extra bunching. The chest is perfect for layering underneath. I’ve received quite a few compliments on the waders and one person asked if they were custom fit (no). The pocket options and zippers are great. I’m really appreciating the center zip option and not having to dress down to take a quick whizz (finally). The type of material and thickness of material is durable, but still very mobile and breathable. I also bought the wading jacket with these and it is fricken awesome as well.

Joshua Low  I fish hard. Bushwack through brush, hike miles, freezing temps, saltwater ect. Not only do these waders hold up through it all, they are comfortable and allow for excellent movement. The warranty and customer service I’ve received from dryft has been outstanding. Quick email response times. Quick handling time, everything you’d expect and more from an awesome company.

John Markham (verified owner)  I bought the Primo Zip Front waders late last year, in time for Steelhead season here in Northern California. I received them right away. No problem there. I was over all very impressed. Went out right away and fished in them. Zip Front very cool. I stayed nice and warm and dry. So far, so good. The next day I went out again. I went to put my licence in the little flip out pocket, went to zip it up and the zipper slider came right off. No big deal really, it doesn’t really effect how the warders work, everything else seems to be fine. Other fisherman are always asking about them. One guy said ” I didn’t know Simms made black waders”. I told him what they were and that they were great.( I didn’t mention the zipper). Overall they seem to be a solid pair of waders. I’ll wait for Steelhead session to end and send them back to see how your customer service is.

Daniel M. Zackuse (verified owner)  This waders are awesome! I cannot see a reason to spend 700.00 to 800.00 for just a pair of waders from other companies out there, I love mine so much a got a pair with the jacket as well. I also got the set for my wife, I purchased a size small for her and they fit her perfect and still she has room to layer for those cold days we have during the winter months. I totally will recommend to friends and family. Another selling point was this company is here in my home state, shipping was super fast and I’m sure if I ever had to return something it would be no problem.

Jeff Koons  Bought the waders and wading jacket for my trip to New York steelhead fishing and both preformed perfect. I fished in snow and 10 degree weather for 3 days and didn’t get cold or wet. Waders and jacket both fit perfect even with layers of clothes for the cold weather. The size chart is very accurate. The fit and comfort of these waders are top notch and the pockets are perfectly designed. If you are looking for a great pair of waders DRYFT waders are just as good as other comparably waders and less money. Customer service is top notch also. I decided to order the jacket after I already received my waders and needed the jacket in 5 days. I emailed DRYFT on a Saturday and they got back to me in minutes and answered all my questions and made sure the order was processed and shipped.

Jason Buik (verified owner)  If you’re are serious about fishing I wouldn’t even look at any other waders! I used the sizing chart (6ft 3 and 200 pounds) and the large fits perfectly. Winter steelheading on Vancouver island can be pretty lousy with the weather we get but not anymore! All in all a very good product and I would recommend them to anyone.

Eric (verified owner)  I got the kracken waders and primo jacket with the face mask combo for christmas. I was super stoked on them. Went fishing and they were pretty amazing. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy any $800 zip up wader. The only thing i didnt like was the fact after my wife purchased them at the “holiday sale price” they went down in price after the new year for the same combo deal. Other then that they are awesome. Stay warm and dry all day.

Ford (verified owner)  I have been search for front zip waders and not wanting to spend $800 to own a pair! I couldn’t be any more pleased not only saving over $400 but the quality is $800 itself! The customer service is just as amazing as well! Purchasing another pair from Dryft in the spring!

Chris Pinksron (verified owner)  Very Very Very Impressed!!!!! Tried my Primo Front Zipped Waders for the first time this weekend on the Texas Coast. I was truly amazed with the fit and comfort as well with the easy mobility I had. The Pockets and D rings are fabulous and I can really tell that a lot of time and research went into the design. I can’t say enough of the quality, design & comfort this offers for the Price. Kudos Dryft!!!!!

Dennis Kelly (verified owner)  Hello I’m from the Toronto area in Canada. These wader are great! They shipped fast even to Canada. The front zipper is awesome and the sizing chart was bang on. I’ve never bought waders online before, so I was a bit worried about sizing and quality. But when the arrived I was blown away at the quality and craftsmanship of this product. The price was awesome as well. I will most likely be ordering the wader jacket soon as well. Such a comfortable product and super durable.

Thank you

Albert Bekus (verified owner)  As an 80 year-old trout and Atlantic salmon fisherman, I have been wearing out and buying waders for over 60 years. Just recently, a Maine guide and friend of mine (Mark Danforth), recommended I try the DRYFT Primo Zip-front waders. I did, and tried them out on the Miramichi this October(2017). What a grand surprise! The Primo Zip front is by far the best waders I have used regardless of price. The fit is perfect, the comfort luxury, the zipper flawless, and they are actually easy to put on and take off! What else can an old guy ask for? I thank DRYFT for producing them and Mark Danforth for recommending them. I will next try them on some heavy tail waters here in Tennessee with a friend of mine, who is also in the market for a new pair of waders. You don’t have to guess which waders I will recommend.

Kevin Rucker  I’m throughly impressed by my S14’s. The fit is great. In my experience they’re every bit as warm for winter days as my G3’s. They’re tough. Im rough on my gear. Put a few scrapes in them but the scrapes never went all the way through and didn’t leak. The crotch section has started to leak a bit. Happens with every brand. Got around 70 trips out of them and have no bad feelings about ordering a new pair to replace the leaky ones. Overall they’re a great product. Well done.

jonesen003 (verified owner)  i bought the s14 a few months ago, and i love them! i would recommend them to anyone! i fish weekly and they’re holding up perfectly! they feel extremely durable and they fit perfect! i’m 6’0″ tall 185lbs and a size 12 shoe and the large is perfect. my buddy ordered from one of the expensive companies and paid 400$ and is sending them back bc the feet are to small and the top is to baggy. he tried my adrenalines on and now he’s hooked he’s ordering a pair! and before i ordered i had a few question and customer service got right back to and answered all my silly questions with no problems, they were a pleasure to deal with! don’t hesitate and ORDER FROM DRYFT!!!

Roger Case (verified owner)  The delivery time was super quick after I ordered the waders. I used the sizing chart and the fit is great. The DRYFT Zip Front are so comfortable and so easy to get in and out of and they don’t leak! I highly recommend them!!

Dennis k Wholey  Since buying these have fished the caney fork river in Tennessee the water runs 55 degrees… I wear them In and out of the water their so comfortable I leave them on even when we go to eat or buy more fishing lures… I literally sit , bend or even kneel down in these like their just a pair of pants( fun to watch kyakers think I’m in deep water when kneeling to hid my reflection from trout then stand up when they get beeched). I never get binding and have walked many miles in these through brush as well… the outside pockets promotes as hand warmers is a very far stretch as they hold water after your chest deep…. defiantly not going to keep hands warm… the inside flip out pockets are nice I can hold my cigar carrier in one and my IPhone 6s+ in the media pouch…. the shoulder straps are adjustable as to spread the weight away from my neck…. I do wish the belt had some sort of clip I could attach it to when I unzip the waders for a break as it likes to pull out from the loops… many say they look like guide waders… I don’t care about looks but like these over the many tan and browns I see out there when fishing.

John Morgan (verified owner)  Looked around at the various manufacturers waders with zip fronts – some were a little frail in construction and others were ridiculously expensive. I was unable to view the DRYFT waders as I live in the UK. And ordering online, a product you’ve not seen, is risky at the best of times, but I was also ordering for use on a forthcoming trip to Cape Cod! However, the waders were at my pick up point waiting for me. Great. Not so great was the fact that I’d erred on the larger inside leg (the foot sizing suited my shoes size) and they were way too long. Contacted DRYFT and asked about ordering the next size down and being able to try both incase the re-order foot size was too small. Have to say absolutely top notch customer service. I had a reply within a couple of hours saying no problem. Paid for the second pair and they were with me within a couple of days (luckily I could borrow a pair of waders to wear meantime) returned the orginal pair (obviously unused) and my account was credited within a few days. So very impressed with the customer service, and, now I’ve worn and used my Primo Zip-front waders I can say I am just as impressed with them. Good fit (the foot size was fine) and comfortable, nicely thought out layout for pockets, and robust construction. Happy to recommend this product and manufacturer.

Ken Friesen (verified owner)  I have a hard time buying things unseen. The DRYFT Primo Zipfront waders are amazing. Hands down these are the best waders I have owned. Buying these waders online is not a mistake. Great quality, excellent fit, light weight, and more comfortable than expected. Well worth the money. You won’t regret it, I don’t!

Mike (verified owner)  It took me a while to decide to buy these waders – its was a leap of faith for me since I had never seen a pair in the flesh but the reviews I read were good. So far I have been really impressed with these waders – the construction is very solid. I have probably fished them 12+ days since I received them. They slip through briar thickets far better than I would have imagined. I honestly don’t think they have been snagged or hung up on any thorns yet which amazes me because I’ve crashed through a lot of thickets already and I’m not overly careful when I go through them – I’m a big dumb animal (but not clumsy). The outer layer sheds water readily so they don’t hold any water to speak of, or subsequently take much time to dry (a small fraction of the time my old ones took). The neoprene feet are thicker than my old waders so I had to retire a pair of Simms boots before I lost a toe nail, but I think that was more of an issue with the dimensions of those boots (snug toe box). I’m 6’1″, 215lbs with size 13 feet so I purchased the XLs. Dimensionally, with the exception of my feet, I’m borderline between the Large and XL. But my XL pair fits comfortably and there is plenty of room for extra layers (which I haven’t had to do yet) or in the event I balloon up 20lbs. They are warm without being noticeably hotter than any other waders I have had. I was concerned about the darkness of the fabric, with respect to heat, but that seems like it is a non-issue. Shipping was really quick. I don’t think there is anything I can add about the zipper, pockets, or other features that hasnt already been said – they are great waders.

Tony Perpignano (verified owner)  So far I am really liking these waders a lot. Out the box they perform as well as the expensive waders. My only mistake was that I should have ordered a Large Short. I am average height and weight (6′-0″) but the regular large are a bit long, but that is okay, my next pair I will order the right size. I like the way the designers arranged and thought about all the pockets, very smart…..The aesthetics are “okay”, These waders feel a little flashy to me, I am okay with subtle, but that is just a minor personal taste thing. Really no reason to buy the expensive waders anymore. Yah at this price point I will remain a customer…

Eric Sorenson (verified owner)  I fished all spring in a pair of the DRYFT Primo Zipfront Waders. They have held up fantastically. The pocket configuration in these is excellent and extremely well thought out. The gravel guards are great and the strap and belt is very comfortable. They don’t have the usual olive drab or tan look of everybody else on the river but I kind a like that. I’ve warn lots of waders over the years from Simms Orvis, and L.L. Bean etc.. when this DRYFT pair goes I’ll replace it with anothe DRYFT product. Good job. Thanks for a great affordable advanced wader option.

Jin (verified owner)  The wader feels comfortable, own the s14 for 3 weeks now, it did kept me dry in any weather. BUT the gravel cover started to rip after being only used 3 weekends. AND the gravel hook cut my shoe laces! I’m a bit disappointed.

Don Lerner Just fished with this jacket in Oregon, wet and rainy. This is a great jacket that kept me both warm and dry. Plenty of pockets and fished with a well-known guide who is a Simms “guy” and he wanted to know what brand of jacket I was wearing. My only request would be to have a place to slip my free hand into while fishing, needing to keep the pockets zipped to kept them dry while wading deep. Otherwise, I might buy another to have on hand when this one wears out in 20+ years.

Ray Baker (verified owner) I really like the jacket it has alot of great features. And it keeps you dry and the wind out. Great fit with room for layering. Only thing I would change is bigger pockets with larger openings.

Damien Barton (verified owner) I’ve had my s14s for close to 2 years now and I will never buy a different brand as long as you guys are around. I have beat the hell out of these waders hiked miles in all terrain. I got tired of buying cheap waders and I couldn’t see spending 450 on simms just for the name. Dryft waders are the way to go.

Rob storie (verified owner) Wanting to update my review. I’ve had my s14’s for over a year and I put nearly 40+ hour a week in them. By far, the best waders I’ve ever owned. I’ve destroyed 2 pairs of high end korkers in he same amount of time yet the waders have been bullet proof!

Rob Kuehn (verified owner) This is an awesome jacket. Well thought out with plenty of pockets and comfortable collar. I tend to spend a lot of time on the oars, so water tends to run down my sleeves, the coat does have a nice water resistant built in the sleeve, as of yet I haven’t tested this feature. I look forward to purchasing the waders in the future. Most recently I ran into a friend buying waders in Cabalas and recommended he check out Dryft before he make his wader purchase! Thx everyone at Dryft for a great product!

Bill Brusse (verified owner) Great waders. Nothing the DRYFT folks or the other customer reviewers say about the waders is an exaggeration. Great fit, materials, and workmanship. All the pockets and the hand warmers are a real plus. The waders also configure easily to a waist height for warmer weather fishing. The waders are head and shoulders better than other waders at twice the price. Keep these folks in business.

Jered Nelson (verified owner) I have a pair of S14’s and so far I love them. I was fishing a couple north coast rivers over the wknd and with the recent rains things were wet, high, and fast. When getting out of the drift boat i have total confidence in staying dry. I really like the dark color because I am a bait fisherman and I tend to end up wearing a fair amount of eggs by days end. They don’t stand out against the color and wash off easily. Live my new waders

Always had Simms, but didnt want to pay $800 bucks for front zip. The Dryft waders are high quality with all the functions of the top end Simms waders but half the cost. I also like the color scheme. The fit is great, im 5’8″ and the small fit perfect. the booties are about a size 9 i would say. Wading belt is designed to stay in place with enough loops so It dosent fling around like other waders ive had. 4 front pockets and i can hold everything i need in them, from full size tacky box, to cell phone, beer koozies, walki talki, whisky flask, car keys, etc. etc.

I had a pair of the s-14 which I loved but ordered a pair of the zip front waders for my wife she loved them so much I decided to upgrade to the zip front wow these are perfect for a 55 year old guy you don’t have to completely undress to pee. Thank you.

Best money ever spent these waders are bulletproof, I primarily use with a float tube they are plenty of storage and handwarmer pockets are legit!!!! I would recommend these to anyone that wants to look their best and stay dry and warm all season.

Well after 3 years of owning the best pair of waders I’ve ever owned it’s time for a new pair of Dryfts. For the last 3 years I have beat and tested the s14 waders. From elk hunting, clam digging, running hounds for coons, trapping beavers and Oh yeah also fishing too. These are the best hands down waders on the market to date. After 20 years of winter steelhead fishing in the pacnw and buying a pair of waders every year, I found myself in a pair of these 3 years ago this October. From the mouth of the Columbia to Cape flattery I’ve hit remote waters and put them to the test. I can’t wait to buy a center zip this fall and use them for my first year of guiding winter steelhead. And also I want to give out a big thanks for the customer service, you guys are top-notch

I purchased the S14 Adrenaline Waders a couple of months ago and have been fishing approximately three to five days a week. These waders have held up awesome so far, the waders fit amazing and let you “breathe” or move around accordingly and aren’t restrictive by any means. On cold rainy days they are insulated enough to still keep you warm and the hand warming pouch comes in very handy. Yet, on hot summer days the waders still keep you cool and comfortable. I would recommend these waders to anyone and would definitely buy again.

Five years ago, I moved from gods country, for those of you who don’t know where that is.. it’s found in the great state of Texas. I decided that I needed to get a pair of waders after a near death experience in the Puget Sound, I didn’t have waders and stood in the awesomely cold water for way too long, well at least until I couldn’t feel my feet. Then I purchased a pair of waders that sprung a leak, now I won’t mention the brand of those waders but let’s just say that my simms have been forgiven. Now I will say this, my near death experience times 2, was due to me (Texan) not wanting my buddies believing that I was freezing by proverbial buttocks off, due to the amount of water that I was taking on in my waders. As hypothermia was knocking at my door I decided that it would be best to move to a warmer area. I did, water getting in was easy, water getting out was not so easy. I struggled to get my waders off and longed for a pair of waders that I could just simply zip off! After struggling with what seemed to me a really long time, shivering and trying to get waders full of water off make for pretty good comedy, I assure you of that.

Being the really smart guy that I am I decided I needed insulated waders. You know, cause the water is so stinking cold that you just drop your beer in the river and it becomes a frosty beverage. These insulated waders caused this poor ole country boy to well, sweat at a rate that should only occur under two circumstances. One, a hot Texas summer and two… well I’ll leave that to your imagination. So, I did what any good American would do. I got my smart phone out and asked siri…naw. Really, I saw an ad, let it sink in for a while. Read these great reviews that told me how much they loved the waders ect.
So, I figured my 5th set of waders in as many years, it was worth to just to see if they (DRYFT) could do the job. I have to admit, I was excited as a school girl who just made the choir when the package came. The mail man was not to thrilled that I was about to take off my blue jeans and try these on at the post box! No, I really didn’t try them on at the post box. I tossed them in the truck and promptly headed out to the lake to fish. When I put them on it was nice to know that if I needed to I could get them off in a tight situation. I was worried about the zipper, but I spent the better part of an hour with the zipper submerged and not a leak. When nature called after a few adult beverages, well I don’t have to tell you how convenient the zipper was. So, all in all. I lov’em! Good job boys, y’all did good!! I hope that folks make it through this review and at least see that you make one hell of a product.

I came across the DRYFT brand when I was searching for me next pair of chest waders. I fish 150 days a year and I have definitely gone through my fair share of waders. I was looking for something very durable, something that looked good, and would fit well so I wouldn’t look like every other guy out there in khaki parachute pants. I decided to give these waders a shot because not only did the specs all seem to point to a quality product… but they just look bad ass. I have had these waders about a week and a half and have fished with them 3 times and although I can’t speak to their longevity yet… I can say this is the most impressed I have ever been with a wader. they look awesome, every aspect of the wader fits great from the feet to the chest. For such a durable product I was shocked with how comfortable they are and how much flexibility they afford when crouching, kneeling, or stepping over logs. Oh.. and pockets… soooo many pockets!! I have already decided that I will almost never bring my pack with me again unless I will be hiking and need to bring clothes, or food, etc. These bad boys can fit plenty of gear for a day on the river no sweat! Overly impressed. Great job guys.

I was in the market for a new pair of zipper waders. I loved my first pair from cabelas, and knew my next pair had to have a zipper. I always gotta wizz while I’m in the middle of the creek and the convenience of the zipper is unrivaled. So I shopped around and chose to buy these. Right out of the box you will notice they are very durable, well made, and look awesome. The button on the top of the waders is a great feature which keeps the waders together and in turn takes much stress off the zipper during unzipping and zipping; something my last pair didnt have. I would have to use two hands to unzip. Now only one is needed. The media pocket is water proof and its velcroed on so you can pull the entire pocket off the waders. I like that. The belt is really nice, and so are all the other mentioned features. I would not however recommend these waders to someone who lives in a hot climate, or only fishes in the summer. I do not know from personal experience yet, as its early spring, but I suspect they will be hot. But even cheaper, lighter waders are still hot. Just something to think about. I fish every season so I’ll get my money out of them, and they are made good.

I recently purchased a pair of The Primo Zip-Front waders. They just happen to show up for the start the the steelhead run here in Northern Indiana. The waders are great. I stayed cool and comfortable on long walks getting back to less fished areas. I stayed nice and comfortable for hours in the cold waters. There are plenty of pockets to store items. I like that my iPhone 6S+ fits nicely in the inside waterproof pocket. So far the waders have proved tough. The St. Joe river has some very slick and jagged rocks. And when nature called, the front zip made it very nice to release the Kraken. At $349, these waders are a helluva a deal. Nowadays, good quality gear is expensive. Save some dough and get yourself a pair of these.

I ordered my S14 waders late last Sunday and received them the following Thursday, super fast shipping. Took them to my local fly shop to try on boots with them and they were the talk of the shop. I used the sizing guide on the website and my waders fit perfectly right out of the box. I have yet to get them in the water but I am sure they will perform even better then they look. Thank you Dryft for providing such a quality product and excellent service at such a reasonable price.

Just got my new waders they fit like a glove. I ‘ am a big boy and they fit great. The shipping was very fast. You will have to sign for them so make sure someone is there when they arrive. I will be on the Deschutes soon, and Montana this summer. Should be the ticket. Very good quality. I really like the belt loops, I lose the belts all the time.

After 20 years on the water and spending thousands on the big name brands, i saw an ad for dryft and i started doing my research. they were a local company, a small company, and a company dedicated to customer service. i went to purchase the s14’s and they were out of stock but a message on the site said they would be back in stock in a few weeks. boy… am i glad i waited. 2 weeks later i contacted the team on their FB page to ask about their fits and got a reply with in about 20 minutes. 2 days later they were in my hands. in the 3 months that ive had them ive put nearly 150 hours into them and they are FANTASTIC! i have countless miles trekking into my favorite NW fishing spots (lots of sticker bushes!) and ive had no issues what so ever.

I;d also like to add that I was contacted shorty after my purchase to make sure i was satisfied with my purchase. in not someone who is brand loyal but when it comes to Dryft, they will be the only waders i own from now on!

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to any client of mine

cons: only one. i wear a taller boot (korker whitehorse) and the gravel guard needs to start about 1-2″ higher on the leg to get the proper fit.

The new Dryft Primo Zip-Front waders have been working great for me on the rugged Southern Oregon Coast. From jagged rocks, thorn bushes and broken branches, took a slide on my backside down 15 feet of roots and mud to find no damage at all.The Primo front zip waders are top notch. The front zipper has come in extremely handy in down pours. Un zip “Release the Kraken” zip up down. The zipper is definitely water proof, have put it to the test many times. Plenty of pockets for what ever you want to carry and they are all accessible in just seconds. I would highly recommend before you buy a pair of waders that are $800 you give these a shot.

Got my S14’s very quickly. Customer service and communication is great.
I love the fit. As mentioned in previous posts, the leg fit is the best I’ve seen or experienced, not baggy at all.
The 5 layer bottoms feel pretty bulletproof. The waders simply feel to the touch more heavy duty, but without feeling clunky. The neoprene wading belt is awesome and far superior to nylon. It snugs your waders comfortably without feeling too tight. The D rings are great to attach a retractor with nippers or hemos. The waders look really good too. The only complaint would be the gravel guard tore pretty easily on a chunk of snow already. The material doesn’t seem tough enough. Overall the best bang for your buck. $220 waders that feel like $400 waders. Just wish I knew Kraken was on the way before I bought these :-/

Living on the Texas coast and ordering these waders from up north I was definitely skeptical at first. Upon arrival, the waders looked top notch quality and very durable. Since putting these waders through a brutal duck season and winter big trout tournament season, they are still in perfect condition. All printed logos are still in tact, zero leaks, and they clean up very easily. I love how I can adjust the shoulder straps so easily if i’m wading in deeper water and need to tighten them up. The huge front pocket is awesome and allows me to carry some different lures with me without toting a big wading belt around. I look forward to sticking with this company for a long time to come and can’t wait to get my hands on their new wading jacket. Top notch quality so far, and I think it will stay that way!

Going on my 3rd season in these waders. They have held up great and I am not easy on them. From the upper Skagit and Sauk Rivers to the Olympic Peninsula and in the saltwater off of Whidbey Island… I am extremely happy with my Dryft Waders. Over logs, through the brush, sliding down gravel river banks on my butt, and also the punishment of saltwater. They have stood up to some real abuse. Can’t beat them for the price!

I Love These Waders! I ordered these and needed them in hurry for a upcoming fishing trip after my second pair of field and streams sprung a leak in less than a month. Needless to say when they arrived on saturday after being ordered on thursday i couldnt be happier. Ive been out in them twice already and am very pleased with the quality and construction. No leaks, fit is very comfortable and they look great. Thank you Dryft for a sick wader!

Following up from my pre-review written in August. Wore them on an unguided 10-day fish/camp/float explosion on the Kanektok. As I mentioned in my picture comment on FB, performed flawlessly, 10 days x ~17 hours/day. I don’t even think I can say that about my G4s, and that was with making fires and walking through the bush every night to collect wood etc. In and out of the raft countless times, wading through deep and fast water at times. Bone dry. To be honest, over the course of the trip, I spent literally hours getting/keeping fires going, knees grinding into the gravel. I don’t even think waders were meant for that but still not even a pin hole. Great product, phenomenal value. Thanks again.

Can’t say enough good things about these waders. After cashing in my two year old cheap-o leaky waders, it was time to step up my game. Reviewed the mega bucks brands and could not get myself to spend more than necessary to own a good quality pair of waders. Purchased on a Thursday morning and received the waders the next day (very impressive). Was able to take them down to the river and get some Chinook blood on them. Very comfortable and durable material on these and feel like they will last as long as they are taken care of. Love the built in belt setup and waterproof chest pocket zipper! Trust in Dryft products, they are the real deal with a killer business model and super responsive with their customers.

I have not yet fished them, I will update when I do. With that said, I feel compelled to write something. I’m headed to AK (two week Kanektok float) in 5 days and recently fished my high-end but heavily worn waders only to find they are leaking in like 7 places. Both feet wet after 2 hours on the river. I surveyed the interwebs and found DRYFT. I pulled the trigger. I contacted the team to let them know of my predicament. 48 hours later the S14s were in my living room. 1/3rd the price of my high-end leakers. These things are feature packed and look frickin bullet proof. Phenomenal customer service. Ridiculously fast shipping. Impeccable look, fit and finish. Thank you to the DRYFT team, looking forward to updating the review in a couple weeks.

These waders are awesome! I’ve owned many different waders including full neoprene’s and I must say, these are just as warm in cold temperatures. I have so much maneuverability in these bad boys I could probably karate kick a fat steelhead in the lip. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next line of fishing apparel to come out. Tight lines!

As a bigger person 6’2″ and 315 lbs. It has always been a struggle to find waders that fit correctly. Another problem I run across is very little room in the calf portion of the legs for heavier undergarments for winter fishing (it doesn’t help that the circumference of the calf muscles are 22″) but the S14 waders fit me good, even in my legs and are nice looking waders and keep me warm and dry. I have had many fisherman ask what kind of waders I was wearing while on the river. A++ from me.

I waited for 2 years too find my next pair of waders and within minutes after seeing these on the website I knew they were the ones for me. I’ve been out 4 times in the 2 weeks I have had them and they are by far the best waders I have ever had. They keep me bone dry from both the water and sweat. The durable construction gives me peace of mind when I am waist deep in frigid New Hampshire rivers. The 2xl is perfect for my 6’2 205lb frame with size 13 feet. I 100% recommend Dryft s14 adrenaline waders.

First off the shipping speed is unreal I ordered them monday and received them on a Wednesday. The first outing I had with them was on the green river in wyoming. The slim fit legs are awesome I would usually walk out of the river with balloon legs in my caddis waders. The booties fit well. All the storage on these is almost enough to not need a pack. The wading belt is a great touch. Having the belt loops makes a huge difference as well. They are very comfortable and easy to move in. Gravel guards stayed put the whole time which is something my old waders never did. I’m very happy with the purchase it was between these and a pair of simms freestones and these had twice the features. I’m glad I went to dryft for my waders. Awesome product guys I’m anticipating the zip up version.

Purchased the S14’s last year and of all the other brands I’ve tried, Dryft’s have been my best pair to date. Short and stocky, their stout sizes fit me perfectly. Very comfortable and forgiving. You have my highest recommendation!

I too am disappointed at the different Gortex type rain jackets that I’ve tried so I purchased this jacket in early Fall 2014. I have used it several times including a 7 day fishing trip to Jackson Hole, WY at the end of September. I agree that this is probably the best fishing rain jacket that I’ve had. I have worn it on cool/cold days and cool/rainy/stormy days. One day, wore it for several hours in the rain, drizzle, and wind and I stayed perfectly warm and dry the entire time. The hood also works great. I especially like the inner wrist straps that help keep water out when you have to reach underwater. The jacket looks great and is mostly comfortable. The downside to the better rain protection is the reduced breathability vs. typical Gortex type jackets. Proper layering will keep you warm into the 40’s! IMO, it isn’t for use during a summer rainstorm because the reduced breathability would keep you too warm but it is perfect for fall. By “mostly comfortable” above, the openings to the lower external pockets are located too high to easily unzip and insert your hands. Maybe the design as a short jacket impacts that. I think it would be a nice feature to have some zippered vents, like in the underarms, to help keep you cooler when it isn’t actively raining. I would recommend this w/o reservation, however, to anyone looking for a good jacket to keep you dry and you’ll look great too! Would buy this again w/o reservations!

I ordered my S14 Wader in January and had to wait for a while due to back order. Nick provided excellent customer service and kept me posted with delivery status. When I finally received my wader, immediately I knew it was worth the wait. The quality of this wader is compatible with a lot of high end waders in the market but Dryft’s are definitely affordable. I only wore it a few times in the summer and only had the chance to truly test the wader out during this fall, in the wet and cold West Coast Vancouver weather. It’s very comfortable and kept me dry. I would highly recommend Dryft to anyone looking for a great product with a reasonable price. (Next on my Xmas list…. The Primo Jacket)

So far so good. I’ve had them for a week now and have been in the water with them nearly every day guiding. First trip out with them it was a scorching 35 degrees to start the day. These waders keep me dry and warm. And the hand warmers come in clutch.

Just got back from my first experience in my new S14’s, a week on the Bighorn and they performed flawlessly. They are the most comfortable waders I’ve ever owned. I’m 6’1″ 175 lbs and the ML were a great fit, not too bulky like most other waders I’ve had in the past. Booty size has always been the restrictive feature. I wear size 12 and to get that fit in most other brands I would have to order large or even extra large to get the booty size I needed and then of course I could swim in the waders. Your 10-11 boot size with the ability to go a 1/2 – 1 size up or down was comfortable enough to wear all day long, although I would appreciate a slightly larger booty. Late fall and early spring with extra socks might cramp the feet a bit. The quality of the workmanship appears first rate. If they hold up over time you have a definite winner. I’d highly recommend the S14 Adrenalines.

Best waders i have ever worn. I use them surfcasting for stripers and the fit is perfect. They take up little space when im not using them, so they’re always in my truck for the next session. Great product and great price.

I’ve been looking to buy a new wading jacket since returning from a cold, windy and rainy trip to Montana recently and realizing my old jacket just doesn’t cut it any longer. While researching and shopping for a new jacket online I came across the DRYFT website. I had a few questions about their jacket and fired off an email. My first impression was “WOW”. I sent the email inquiry and had an answer within 30 Minutes. I then ordered the new PRIMO Wading Jacket, it was a Friday afternoon. USPS delivered the jacket on Monday, a second WOW, 2 day delivery Seattle to Denver. Examining the jacket reveals a well thought out functional design constructed with quality materials. First, the articulated raglan sleeve for a more natural and comfortable fit with no seam on top of the shoulder to leak (one of many problems with my old jacket). The adjustable snag less cuff design and the smooth front pockets with waterproof zippers, no velcro to catch your line. A clever internally adjustable drawstring at the bottom eliminating another potential snag point. A soft collar and adjustable hood add to the functional features. All seams have been taped to assure they are sealed. Although the jacket has plenty of roomy as well as hand warmer pockets the one thing I find missing is an interior pocket for the likes of a cell phone or license, not a big deal as my shirts have pockets. Thanks DRYFT for great customer service and a well thought out, functional, well made, affordable jacket. Now I’m just waiting for another cold, windy and rainy day to try it out in real life and not just in the shower.

I love these waders. I ordered the S14 adrenaline waders before they were out and had to wait a a bit for them but they were worth the wait! Very comfortable and got lots of looks from my fellow fisherpeople! I passed on the info to them and hopefully they will order a pair. Love them!!

As the owner of Chugach Backcountry Fishing in Alaska I’ve spent many days in the rain feeling damp and soggy after a couple of hours in “100% GoreTex” products. It didn’t seem to matter which high-performance brand I wore-I always found that eventually my coat and I became saturated-the S14 Wading Coat changed that. As with my Dryft waders, the S14 Jacket not only fits well, looks great, sports a lightweight feel, and is comfortable for rowing in but it is absolutely the best waterproof coat I’ve used. As a testimate to my belief in this product, within one week I outfitted my entire guiding staff and my family in it. It is the small details of any product that can make it a favorite for everyday use-that’s where in-field product testing makes all the difference. Dryft did their homework on this one. I am 100% comfortable leaving cash and my I phone in waterproof sealed pockets, the soft liner on the high neck and in the pockets of the jacket are perfect for cooler temp days, and the peripheral vision I have when the hood is deployed are qualities that every jacket should offer. If you want to stay dry on the fly, the Dryft PRIMO is for you.

I absolutely love this jacket out of the box. I have not had a chance to try it out in hard weather yet, but can say that style, fit, finishing, quality of materials are all top notch. Their style is great, these guys know how to deliver what so far appears to be great style coupled with what appears will be a bomber jacket at a very reasonable price.

As they did with their waders, Dryft has done it again with the Primo Jacket. I absolutely love this jacket, the fit is perfect, it is breathable, movable and stylish. It has all the pockets and compartments that are needed for a full day on the water and it will most definitely keep you dry and wanting to continue fishing even when the conditions aren’t promising. There is plenty of room for layering underneath as well. It is the essential jacket to have here up in Alaska with the way our conditions can be sometimes. Plus, you absolutely cannot beat the price. I have been a supporter of these guys since the beginning and will be until the end. Dryft continues to put out stellar products, and they are without a doubt the future. Everyone should check them out!

Being a Professional Fishing Guide I need equipment that not only fits well and is professional looking, but will also withstand the test of time. After recieving my new waders the day after ordering them (yea freaky fast) I was very pleased with the fit and the overall styling of the water. They are built very well and I would compare them to sets I have spent double the money for. The knee are very reinforced and the set as a whole feels very well built. Yesterday was my first day wearing my new waders, and it was for over 12 hours. The contoured legs help eliminate that awkward bunching feeling in the legs and help reduce drag when in swift water. They stay high on the chest when wading and walking and our very comfortable to fish in all day. I am very impressed with my new DRYFT Waders and I am looking forward to using them on my upcoming adventures.

I received my waders about 2 months ago. The first time I wore them was in the tailwaters of Lake Taneycomo below Table Rock Lake. My fishing buddy that day had his neophreme’s on and was complaining about being cold. I was toasty and warm all day. Amazing for how light they are.Well the weather has warmed up here in the Ozarks and they are able to keep me cool even on low 90 days. I also like the flexibility I have to kneel down in the water to net and release the fish. Awesome!!

Received mine in the mail yesterday and I didn’t waste any time getting them into the surf. The fit is perfect and very comfortable (XL for me – 6″2, 220lbs, size 13 foot). The design leaves nothing to be desired – they look great and have a bunch of zippered pockets. Not only that, but they make other fisherman jealous; I had two guys within the first hour ask me where I bought them, and then mention how ugly their waders were in comparison. Great product, great waders, great customer service, and a great fashion statement.

Waders fit great. Had them out one trip so far… no complaints. Thanks for going out of your way to get them to me in time for my trip!!!!

Freshest set of waders I’ve seen, cuz they don’t look like every other pair out there! These bad boys are awesome and so glad I waited instead of buying a pair of those other overly priced mainstream waders. Just wait, because they may just become the new standard on the water. Way to go guys!!!

I have been wearing waders for 100+ days for the last 15 years. I’ve probably worn a wader from every company you can think of. After receiving my new adrenalines the first thing I did was try them on , it seems my body style in other waders creates somewhat of a MC Hammer look. My Dryft Adrenalines fit like my favorite pair of jean, no excess, no oversized legs. Length is dead on. Next I checked to see how tight I was gonna have to make the suspenders. Not a single adjustment needed to be made right out of the box. I figured it was to good to be true. I got them in the water, every other pair of waders I have ever owned, I would always get water I call water suck, the legs get so tight it feels like they are gonna cut off circulation. Not in the adrenaline, kept me dry, comfortable, the booties didn’t bunch in my boots. As a competitive fishermen, and a guide. I will forever only wear Dryft Waders. Excellent job guys , keeping coming up with new product. You have a customer for life!!!!

I am a 5’8 female and the size small waders fit great and are super comfortable with total maneuverability. Not stiff or restrictive at all. I completely recommend these.
