Fit and Feature Description
Heavier weight. More breathable. More durable. More comfortable.
Two outer pockets with YKK water resistant zippers, and a flip out pocket hold the essentials, while the burly four-layer lower adds durability through the entire lower including the legs, knees, and seat. Contoured and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement. An outer D-ring gives a secure attachment point for accessories. The new integrated belt snaps lock your belt in place so it can’t escape. Unsnap them to remove or add a belt, and then snap the loops shut and the belt buckle can’t retreat out. This means no lost belt, and no fiddling with rethreading the buckle through the loop after unbuckling your belt during a quick relief session.
Staying dry
Breathable 20,000mm+ waterproof rated pfas-free DWR coated four layer nylon fabric combined with double taped seams bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are double taped a second time to keep the water where the fish are.
The new Primo wading pants are more breathable compared to previous models with exceptional abrasion and tear resistance and enhanced bonding strength for greater long term durability.

These wading pants are awesome! As I guide in Alaska I depend on these every day. They may not be as durable as something like a Simms G3, but THEY ARE VERY DURABLE AND GET THE JOB DONE. After 5 months of daily use, tramping through some of the toughest bush in Alaska, they still do not leak. Let me tell you, these things are WARM! In 35* water they still keep you warm and dry. One of the things I like most is the ease of use with these waders. They’re as easy to put on as your normal jeans, and as easy to take off. I’ve used them on everything from guiding in Southwest Alaska, to the Kenai Peninsula, to the backcountry of the California Seirra. I highly recommend these waders. You will not regret getting them.

Got these wading pants about a month ago. They are great! Seem very durable, and have plenty of room when sitting/squatting/bending. I use them for saltwater/oceanfront conditions, and haven’t had any issues. The weather is getting cooler, and I expect them to be to be comfortable with layering underneath.
My pant size is 32/30, shoe size 10.5. I went with the Medium Long. They are a tad long for me and the neoprene socks are slightly big. I probably would have done better with the Medium. Not a big deal. Probably will grab some suspenders at some point, but the included belt is adjustable, and I can tighten them up a little higher on my waist if needed.

I love these waders! The fit is fantastic, not too tight, but not baggy like a trash bag like cheap waders I’ve had before. They keep me dry and warm. I rarely need chest waders, and these pants are life-changing. They are so much better for hiking into more remote spots and I can wear them all day comfortably. Great for wading/kayaking/boating. I will definitely be pairing them with the rain jacket so I keep chasing fish all winter long.

After 7 years my other brand wading pants finally gave up the ghost. Found Dryft brand and saw alot of good reviews so decided to give them a try. Have only worn them for 5 days but put them through alders, rose bushes, spruce trees and other brush while on our moose hunt. Basically lived in the waders the entire trip and they were perfect. Thick material throughout the wader that seems like it should stand up to alot of abuse. So far they have been great! Only issue was the belt. Its a little stretchy. While packing out the moose my back would push down on the pants and with the stretch of the belt they would slowly start to fall. Not that big of a deal though can just use a different belt.

Great wading pant! Bought it before a trip with my buddies in WY on the Miracle Mile and they performed great! I’m 5’8” and normally wear a 34×30 pant and the medium fit perfectly with a pair of hybrid shorts underneath. The belt is on point and adjusted to the perfect fit. So comfortable! I don’t know if I’ll ever buy another brand!

Total game changer!
There is certainly a time and place for chest waders but more than half of the year, chest waders just don’t fit the bill. On the other hand, the hiking, climbing and scrambling, or the Spring chill, can be a bit much for, full on “wet wading”…always a dilemma! Due to their attention to detail, fit, finish and price point, these Session GD Wading Pants provided me the perfect solution. I’m impressed!
When my “Big Name” chest high waders need replacing, I will be looking to DRYFT products to fill the void!

Phenomenal waders. Great fit, super comfortable and have always kept me dry! Belt is meh, but every other element of these pants is absolutely top-tier premium and backed by fantastic customer service. I had to wait until my size was back in stock but I am SO GLAD I DID! Way more comfortable than my chest waders (no belly sweat!) and are super easy on/off when nature calls. I am 5’9″ and 165 with a size 9-9.5 foot and the booties were perfect also (I purchased the Mediums). Even my most steadfast “pants are stupid” surfcasting friends are eyeballing these after seeing how pleased I have been with them. Zero complaints, and I would ( and do!) recommend these!

Great fit. Look good. Super comfortable hiking in to fish or knee deep in the river. These waders will stand up to bushwhacking through the willows and berry bushes of streams in the Pacific Northwest without a problem.

This is my second pair of Dryft waders. I am still waiting for my first pair to fail. 4 hard years of scrambling around gravel and stone filled rivers. Bush crashing and grinding the knees into the gravel while I sample Lake Superior run steelhead. Best fitting neoprene foot ever. Dryft customer for life.

Have had these for about 1 month and really like them. They fit well, have kept me dry, and seem to take abuse. I wear them out FFings 2-3 times/week. My only complaint is the belt … the belt supplied is pretty bad and I wish the loops were wider to accommodate a stiff belt I already have.
