The strong and durable four-layer lower from the waist down includes a single vertical seam design with seams running up the outside of the legs to eliminate seam abrasion when walking. The burly heavyweight four-layer lower joins a comfortable lighter three-layer upper with plenty of secure storage pockets on the outside and inside, including a media pocket and dual large drop in pockets. Adjustable straps, belt, and upper drawstring let you dial in the fit, and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement. Zippered fleece-lined hand warming pockets double as extra storage, and an adjustable Comfortflex™ semi-stretch wading belt, a nylon webbing non-stretch wading belt, and storage bag are included.
What about staying dry?
Breathable, 20,000mm DWR coated waterproof fabrics combined with double taped seams bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are triple taped throughout the legs to keep the water where the fish are.

I brought the zip waders and they look and feel great. I have owned countless waders from all the major manufacturers and these seem to be better than the rest. I have not fished in them yet, but I will be on the San Juan this month and the Green in November and December. So actual field test reviews to follow. Really looking forward to using and abusing these waders.

Gave them a try, but couldn’t find a size that fit. I’m a standard 30-32 pant, and thinner build, weight 165. Waders tend to be big in the chest, and these were no different. Was hoping for a slimmer profile. Tried ML, WAY too big, and then exchanged for M, and way too big in chest. Could fit a beach ball in there!! What about the skinny people!!! I’m sure they are awesome, hopefully in the future, they’ll offer less chest girth options. Best of luck

Great waders. Not as outstandingly impressed as I expected, but probably only because the promo jacket set such a high expectation. Ordered Medium Long, and exchanged for Mediums. Process and customer service was efficient and thorough.
The fit of these reminds me of the baggy body of my Frogs with longer legs rather than the slimmer body of my G3s. I’ve never had zipped waders, and that is truly a great attribute. I do really like these, and would be very impressed if I wasn’t expecting the perfection of the primo jacket

Purchased these as a birthday present for myself. These are, hands down, the best waders that I’ve ever used. The fit was perfect, comfortably snug, no need for the belt and let me move freely and naturally. Kept me warm in the very cold April Au Sable waters, log jams and river rocks were no match for these waders. Just love “em.

Ordered the LKS but thought they were a bit too roomy so ordered a LS and it was almost an ideal fit. Sent the LKS back for a refund which was done promptly.
Great design and appearance, with everything organized in the best possible places for easy and quick access. Can’t speak to the on-stream, in use information yet, but have a 9 day trip upcoming North of Sault Ste. Marie, which will give them a VERY intensive workout.
I’m thinking they’ll perform exactly as intended- perfectly.

I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on something I could potentially tear up crawling over a log jam on the first day. But, they seem to be super tough and are very comfortable. Finally got to try out the new waders during a 4 day steelhead alley trip and have to say I’m impressed. Not only are they light and durable and loaded with pockets but they’re extremely comfortable. For me the best feature is the fit. I’m 5’10” 240lbs with a 30″ inseam…long up top/beer gut with short legs and the 2XL short fit perfectly. I was gonna go with the XL short which would fit but chose the 2xls for the little extra room for warm clothes in the winter time and I’m glad I did. Great product!

I haven’t had the chance to use my new primo zip waders yet but fishing season is almost here. Planning on using them a lot . I expect total satisfaction because of all of the positive feedback and great reviews. Also I have friends that have them and love them . I bought a pair of Primo Zip GD waders last October for a salmon fishing trip in the PNW. Due to my short inseam, I have very little options for proper fit. The other Washington company changed the short inseam length of their waders, and the fit was no longer suitable (have an older pair of G3). I actually stumbled onto the Dryft website, and the fit chart listed an inseam length that would be perfect. I took a chance and placed the online order. The waders were packed very well, and they arrived quite fast to Ontario. On the first fitting, all I could say was ‘WOW!’ For me it was perfect fit. They were a very comfortable fit.
The trip to PNW, included some hiking, and hip deep wading. After 6 hour sessions on the river, I felt very comfortable, and dry. I didn’t have any pinch or uneven flex points. The only spot with any feel of dampness was in the stocking feet, fully reasonable. I appreciated the heavy duty zippered pouch for my electronics, all dry in the mist and rain. I didn’t make use of all the attachments, but they’re there when I need them.
The external fit and finish seems durable, and after 6 days on the water, show very little wear.
In November and December I used them in the Great Lakes region. The front zipper was very convenient for getting in and out in the cold. It looks like I’ll be staying with zippered waders. After trips I used the zipper conditioner, and they’re nice and smooth. These waders handled the colder conditions well, and I remained comfortable and dry. I’d definitely purchase again.

I have a pair of these in the 2020 model. I’ve had them for about 18 months now and have used them extensively for trout and steelhead in all kinds of weather. The performance has been pretty spectacular overall. I have really kind of beat the crap out of them and they are damage and leak free. The zip front is a real teat for those of us in our 50’s ha ha ha…

Great waders, I’m very happy with the quality of materials used and adequate seam tape inside of the waders on key points is nice. I’ve been fishing 1-2 full days a week in these waders since they arrived quickly, by mail a few months ago and so far no leaks! The lined pockets are warm for cold hands and the front zipper is the way to go when you have layers on in winter for a quick and hastle free pee. Maintain the zipper and clean the mud off before hanging the waders to dry, easy. Hopefully these stand up to years of fishing like my other waders did. Can’t beat these for the price point though being a lot cheaper than the next best thing. I have just some feedback on the gravel guard, around the stocking foot could be a few inches longer as it doesn’t reach the D-ring on my boots. 9/10
