Contoured and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement. The durable and breathable reinforced lower from the waist down includes a single vertical seam design with seams running up the outside of the legs to eliminate seam abrasion when walking.

What about staying dry?

Breathable, 20,000+mm DWR coated waterproof nylon fabric combined with NoLeak™ double taped seams through the lowers bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are triple taped a second time to keep the water where the fish are.

Finally, DRYFT S14 waders are direct to consumer priced to save you some coin and leave enough skrilla in your pocket to buy gas, beer, and tackle or flies.

I’ve only had the chance to fish these 3 times, so far I really like them. Easy on and off, comfortable to walk in and keeps me dry, the three most important factors for me. I’m 6’2 and 240lb, inseam is 32” so I bought the 2XLS. Fit is good for walking and climbing in/out of my DB. My old breathables were probably 15 years old. They finally started to leak. After trying to patch them over and over I gave up and after much research I decided on DRYFT. I don’t do a ton of bushwackin anymore, mostly fishing out of my DB. I’m sure they’ll serve me well for years to come.

  2. Larry T Reynolds (verified owner)

I’ve Had my S14’s for about a month. Since this is prime time for salmon here in Michigan they have already seen a LOT of river time. I am very happy to say that I love them!I’m I big guy (5’11” 340#’s and the 3XL’s fit me perfectly. When I was looking for breathable waders in my size I had hard time finding any that I considered quality waders that would fit me. One of our younger local guides I noticed was wearing a set so I looked them up and I’m happy I did! I’ve had neoprene waders when I got started river fishing and tho they maybe good for cold weather fishing they are big and bulky and not really great for hiking to that spot on the river. The only thing bad I can say about these is I wish you guys had boots because I would have bought a set for sure! But I opted to pair my new waders with a pair of Simms G3’s and it’s a great combo! Great job guys on producing a quality affordable product with great fit and finish. You’ll always have my business!

  3. Bob (verified owner)

I have only been out in my new waders a handful of times now, and bought them on a high recommendation from a friend. Second time I had them out I spent the the whole day in them, comfortable and did the job just right in keeping me dry. Pockets are easy and zippers seem good. The fit (I got medium tall) were just right for my build so that I didn’t have to get the baggier larges and here that constant “swishing” sound of something that doesn’t fit just right and rubs against itself all day. All of that, and I think they were reasonably priced for the quality.

  4. John Moran (verified owner)

I’ve only had them in the water once. First off, I love the fit! This is the first set of waders that I have not had to fight with the foot to fit in my boots. They are very comfortable and easy to move. The only issue I had was my left foot was wet at the end of the day, I am not sure if it was just sweat or a leak, but since the water temp was about 48 degrees and my foot wasn’t cold, I’m assuming at this point it was just a sweat issue. Easy to adjust the shoulder straps and belt. As others have commented, I do wish they were in a lighter color.

    • Nick Satushek (verified owner)

      Hi John,
Thanks for taking the time to write a review! We’re glad to hear that the fit is good. The foot dampness sounds like it could just be clamminess, which is common inside the neoprene stockingfeet. We suggest trying a different set of socks next time (light merino or synthetic materials). But in the off chance that it’s something else you’re covered under warranty too. Thanks! -Nick

  5. Paul Kype – Eastslope Adventures (verified owner)

Recently recieved my pair of Dryft waders . I have been a fulltime guide in AB Canada for the last 15 years and im very hard on waders with the amount of rafting i do . I gotta say that the fit on these waders is the best ive ever had and the build feels really rugged and solid. Right now due to the black colour of them ive not been able to use them much during this insufferably hot summer , so i look forward to fall when i can wear them regularely .

  6. Dan (verified owner)

Just tried out the new waders yesterday. very good overall impression. The fit is exceptional, especially in the crotch area. You can hike easily, without excess fabric rubbing together. I am 6’, 210 lbs, with a 30” inseam, and the XL worked great. Just enough extra in the inseam to allow for high stepping. The fabric is light yet beefy, and I had no worries about sitting down on fallen logs, etc. Suspenders worked well, though I am still figuring out how to latch them in the lower “pants-like” position. The booties worked very well, with no leaks. My only minor issue is the color. Temps yesterday (Jemez mountains, NM) were in the low 70’s, and if I was standing on shore, in the sun, the waders darker color was on the warm side. But that is a minor criticism. I spent years wearing cheap waders, and am quite pleased to have upgraded to Dryft.

  7. Scott (verified owner)

These waders are Worth the money I am 5 foot five and 180 pounds I got the large short and they fit perfect with room to move only used them one season now but I am impressed

  8. John Hearn (verified owner)

Absolutely love the look and feel of these waders. The comfort is superior! Heard about these by word of mouth from another happy customer I will be sure to keep that going! They were fast to ship, especially with me being in Alaska! Support a small business in these guys they won’t disappoint!

  9. Eric Borden

Been through 3 different brands for waders and love these waders. Lightweight, comfortable, and great looking. Looking forward to buying more dryft products in the future.

  10. Cody (verified owner)

Amazing waders overall I couldn’t be happier with them!! I’ve been limping a pair of old cabelas chest waders for the last 6 seasons patching together leaking seams with tape and glue and finally broke down and got a pair of these that came highly recommended by a couple of my buddies and it was the best money I’ve ever spent on waders!! They are super comfortable and fit perfect I’m 5’11” and 250 and the XLs are perfect on me. Most times being a bigger guy you don’t have the leg room and I can move around any way I want and not have to worry bout splitting them. I fish a lot of cold weather and between the black color of the waders and how thick the fabric is definitely makes a difference on warmth and overall quality of the wader!

  11. Zachary Gonzales (verified owner)

These waders are awesome !! Took em out for a late winter trip on the conejos in southern co and they performed flawlessly. Several anglers asked me about the brand. Super impressed with the fit and durable construction. I recommend these to anyone !! Dont wait and accept poorly made leaking waders anymore . Top notch product .

  12. Evan (verified owner)

Purchased the S14 Waders, my first pair of stocking foots! I bought the size small as I am a smaller guy and they fit like a glove. They still have plenty of room to lair up in the cold and I am still comfortable in them. Tons of great storage features which is a huge plus. The belt is a nice neoprene material and tightens up nicely. I’ve worn them out several times now and I do a lot of walking and climbing, no leaks yet. I don’t think there is anything I don’t like about these waders so far. I’d highly recommend.

  13. Bradley Wetzel (verified owner)

I love my new S14 Waders. They fit great and are well made. The only problem is that it is Feb. and its only 12 degrees/-7 with wind chill. I am not going fishing for a while yet! In the mean time the wife says I look silly wearing them around the house. Very nice waders!!!!

  14. Chris (verified owner)

I have worn these for a season and can’t fault them. The stretchy belt is very comfortable, the gravel guards are very durable, the fit is better than any other brand and the price means you have another customer for life

  15. Cindy (verified owner)

Gift for my husband. He absolutely loves them, they fit perfectly. Look great and he says they are very comfortable. It’s winter, so he hasn’t tried them yet but so far he likes them better than any waders he’s had yet…and that is alot of waders over 50 yrs!!! Will followup after he breaks them in 😉 I plan on getting a pair as well.

  16. Troy (verified owner)

Best waders I have ever owned. These fit perfectly are lightweight, durable, warm and unbelievably comfortable. Customer for life!!!

  17. Jesse

These are bu far the best waders I’ve ever owned! They’re tough, warm and keep you dry. Highly recommend, from a devoted great lake steelheader. I’m costumer for life!

  18. Charlie (verified owner)

Perfect fit from the minute I put them on . Wore them on 2 trips so far and can’t find anything I don’t like . Wish I had them 30 yrs ago

  19. Matt Morlock

Bought my first pair of Dryft waders and had a small leak at one of the seams. Sent them back and they replaced them immediately. Extremely happy with the customer service and performance of my waders. Customer for life!

  20. Hank (verified owner)

Love my new Dryft S14 Waders!! I did a youtube unboxing on them you can watch it here:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I5C7jUTrKZc&t=1s

On the water, they’re great. The neoprene stocking does a good job of keeping your feet warm. Based on what I read, the legs area has an extra layer, which you can feel once you get about waist deep. You feel the cold above your waist, but not on your legs, which is nice. The zippered pockets are a nice touch and the stitching is clean.

My only small complaint is the handwarmer is not felt lined on both sides, so on the water, they’re pretty useless. It is a good place to store extra gear though, and I throw all my gopro stuff in the handwarmer. Very satisfied with the waders, and I can’t wait until I can get the jacket!

  21. Michael Flood (verified owner)

I have not yet had a chance to get them in the water, but I love the features and especially the fit. I have struggled for years to find waders that fit me comfortably at 5’8″ and 240 lbs. – for me the XLS is just right! Can’t wait to get them wet!!

  22. Tom Matschek

I’ve been really pleased with my waders. They are comfortable to wear and seem to strike a great balance for fishing in Central Texas. They are comfortable enough to wear them in the summer when you want to stay dry and with simple fleece pants I can do 5+ hours in outside air temps of 30-40 degrees F. You won’t be disappointed with these…
    Well done Dryft!

  23. Jonathan Davis (verified owner)

I’m a seatrout fisherman on the coast of NC and am constantly walking up and down the sandy beaches. These things hold up incredibly well and fit so comfortably. I can walk miles with no fatigue or blistering. I’m 5’11” and got the ML wish I would have gone with a M cause they’re a little too long for me but that’s okay. They’re still by far the best waders I’ve worn.

  24. Herman Van Fleet (verified owner)

This is a fine set of waders. They replaced a set of Cabelas waders which finally gave up the ghost after 15 years. The fit and accessories are perfect for me. I am 6′-3, 230 # and got the XL size. Got the extra belt because I am purchasing a wading staff to attach to the belt.

  25. gmatz33

Love these waders!!! I bought the first edition of these waders probably 5 or 6 years ago and they started to leak in the butt area. I’ve owned other brands of waders and they usually didn’t last me more than 2-3 years, so it was a no-brainer to purchase another pair of Dryft Waders. Even though the my older Dryft waders leak in the butt area, I still use them for floattubing and the new ones for wading. I also bought the ziploc dry pouch that attached to the inside of your waders and it worked great, saved my key fob and phone from getting drenched. Thanks again for great product.

  26. Brian Jewell (verified owner)

This is my first pair of Dryft waders but won’t be my last. They are super comfortable and have the best “pocket” set up I have seen. Lots of easy to access pockets and zippers. I wade in them, float tube in them and use them in my fishing kayak. They are durable and I have found them easy to move around in.

  27. Justin (verified owner)

I work in fisheries and restoration and am therefore very hard on my waders. I use them at least once a week, often three or four days a week. I have to climb log jams, walk through thorny and grabby brush, and just generally give them a hard time. Other brands I have tried have started leaking at the seams within a month. I’ve had these for three months now and have one or two small spots that are leaking, so they are holding up twice as long as other brands I’ve used and for a better price. Definitely buy again.

  28. Shane St.Esprit (verified owner)

I’ve bought 3 pairs of Simms waders and have had immediate leaks (within hours). Dryft has been super reliable. Lifetime customer now!

  29. Evan D Bogunia (verified owner)

On my second pair of the S14 waders. My first pair lasted me an entire year of hardcore abuse fishing the rockies of Colorado and Wyoming. Developed a few pinholes over time, and accepted patches/repairs well. These waders fit great, and perform better.

  30. trúc

I recieved my s14’s just three months ago in Sept. 2020, and have since fished over 200 hours in them from the mouth of the Lyre in WA, the Pahsimeroi and Salmon Rivers in Idaho, to the Upper Sac in California, and the Gila, Salt, and Oak in Arizona. They are the best waders I’ve had and are as durable as I would ever need them. For what they are, the features, fit, and performance are second to none, and I’m comparing them to Simms and Orvis 3 layer Gore waders. The denier may be only slightly less, but I’ve climbed over several dozens of post fences, shwacked through aggressive overgrowth and through farmlands, and they still look as good and keeps me dry as the day I got them. Pretty stoked.

  31. PHILIP LIGHT (verified owner)

I had the session wading pants and loved them, so I bought the S14’s to replace my chest waders from another company that leaked like a sieve out of the box (2nd pair after returning the first pair due to failure). The S14’s are super comfortable and fit absolutely perfectly. I know the fit is going to be different for everyone, so the important parts that apply to everyone are; built extremely well, no leaks yet (only worn about 5 times now), warm, love the hand-warming pocket, the gravel guards are very sturdy, the seams seem very strong, the buckles on the shoulder straps are very nice. They’re just all around the best waders I’ve ever owned.

  32. Jake Myers (verified owner)

I’ve owned my pair for about a month now. They fit awesome and are comfy. No leaks. Definitely not warm by any means, like all neoprenes. Need to layer underneath.

  33. Azul Arias (verified owner)

I ordered the S14 for a 4 day salmon trip on the Feather River. The waders performed great no problems at all. The pockets are a great feature I had extra leader and baits to tie on without going back to shore. My only issue is the foot size. I am 6’5″ 240lbs and I wear size 13 shoes and the foot in the XL was pretty snug. I emailed DRYFT before purchasing to ask what size to order for my shoe size and I was told the XL would fit. I wish there was an option to order a size up in foot. Otherwise would be 5 stars.

  34. dziedzic101 (verified owner)

Great fit and the best customer service I ever experienced. I had a small tear on one of the inside pockets when I received the waders. Emailed them they got back to me within 10 minutes and sent me out a new pair before I was even able to send them out the pair I received.

  35. Michael Farrar

I have not even wore my waders yet. I needed 3xl-S. They were out of stock. Nick went into the warehouse and found a pair from last year. I can’t wait to wear them on my Oct steelhead trip, they fit awesome. I will never forget the great customer service Nick provided. Thx again Nick, pics on the way.

  36. Eric Garrison (verified owner)

I am 6’6″ and 165 pounds soaking wet, you do the math: I know, it looks as weird as you are picturing in your head right now. The large long size is absolutely perfect for me! I’ve been wearing clothes that don’t fit me for most of my life due to my abnormal shape and size but when I slipped these honeys on I thought it was too good to be true. My toes weren’t jammed, I didn’t feel like Stone Cold was choking me out with the suspender straps, and felt like they had just came back from the tailor. I cannot say enough about these waders, for that price you can go collect change outside of your local 7 eleven and before you know it you’ll be as cool as all the other guys in DRYFT gear.

  37. Randi strunk (verified owner)

Awsome waders ordered on sunday arrived at my door on Thursday wore them Saturday and sunday amazing fit and probably the most comfortable waders I’ve ever worn. Thank you dryft for a great product

  38. Taty Zackar (verified owner)

I’ve had my waders for two years and they are great. I use them everyday in the summer here in Alaska and I am really tough on my gear. They have not failed me.

  39. Justin Glover (verified owner)

Just took my first trip with these waders and couldn’t be happier! They are extremely comfortable! Was contemplating buying these for a couple years and finally made the right choice! I paired mine with Korkers Devil’s canyon boots per Dryft recommendation and they also worked flawlessly! Thanks for making a durable and affordable wader Dryft!

  40. Wyatt

High quality waders at an amazing price have recommended to so many people. Love these eamr for a pair of breathable waders too. very comfortable and durable

  41. Matt Morlock

These are the best waders I’ve ever owned! Would highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

  42. Evan Bogunia (verified owner)

A bit of backstory before I get to the review – the first pair I ordered seemed to be mislabelled as I ordered a medium long and when I tried them on it looks like I got a XXXL, Nick was quick to respond and got a replacement out to me immediately. I’m 6′, 180, and the medium longs fit really well. Unfortunately, after only 2 trips out, I got some leaky seams. Reached out and again, got a replacement pair out to me quickly. This pair also sprung a leak around the booty, and I contemplated just doing a return and moving on to another brand. Really glad I didn’t. The last pair I received has now been on dozens of trips in the winter of Colorado, and are keeping me dry and warm. I tend to do a lot of scrambling, bushwhacking, and hiking to get to the spots less fished, and I feel like these are going to hold up nicely. Killer product, even better customer service.

    • Nick Satushek (verified owner)

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I’m glad we were able to make the situation right for you. We’ve identified what happened with the waders you received initially- we had a quality control issue that effected certain sizes of some models of waders that we sold right around that time. We have identified and resolved the issue now. Thanks again for hanging in there and I’m glad to hear you’ve been getting good use out of them this winter! -Nick

  43. Jefferson White

Received these as a gift for Xmas 2019… I have been wearing a pair of light weight waders cautiously because I’m out usually once a week no mater the season or weather. These waders feel ultra durable, comfortable and I no longer fear that they’ll fall apart as I make my way to my favorite out of the way spots! I’m 5’8”, 175lbs and the medium fits perfect. Love the articulated knees and having some room to move without feeling baggy.

  44. Ken Stephens (verified owner)

I needed some new waders for fall/winter/spring fishing in north central Washington and winter steelheading on the coast. I researched every possible wader alternative on the internet and in local stores where possible. I paid special attention to reviews when I could find them. I finally decided on Dryft; their combination of price and five star reviews made them the obvious choice. I emailed them asking for a call back; Nick phoned me within a couple of hours. I had my new waders in three days. I am 6’2″ and weight 215; the XLs fit me perfect and work great with my size 12 Korker boots. Lastly I liked that I could buy from a business in my own state. Thanks Nick and Dryft

I received a pair of the S14 waders for Christmas. The waders are very high quality and are an incredible bargain at the normal price, let alone the on sale price. These guys thought of everything. If I could package up all the individual things I liked about about all my past waders and put them into one pair this is what I would have ended up with. Also the fit is better than any wader I have ever owned. I cannot wait to get them wet.

  46. Bill Rosinski (verified owner)

My S14 waders are more comfortable than my custom fit Simms and fit better. For those who have big feet and have a hard time finding waders that fit your feet give DRYFT S14 waders a try. My Simms are fitted for 15’s to allow room for wool socks and cost an extra $100 for the “custom” fit yet my S14 booties have WAY more room? Could of purchased 3 pairs of DRYFTS for what my Simms cost. No comparison,DRYFTS ARE A BETTER CHOICE ALL AROUND. Even Nick was very helpful over the phone. Thanks Nick

  47. Scott Piechowiak (verified owner)

Upon receiving my Dryft S14 waders, I was completely blown away by the overall quality, fit, and construction of these things!! My expectations were far exceeded especially considering the price point! I’ve only had these waders on the water for 2 months now, but can tell that they were built to fish! I’m on the stream 3x per week at least, so I’ve definitely put them to work and so far they have been flawless! Comfortable to fish in all day, tons and tons of storage with easy access, and built rugged enough to hike miles through the bush without worries! Very, very impressed so far to say the least!

  48. Michael Grandits

Wear waders steelhead fishing thru the winter in New York. Kept me dry and warm on the coldest days and look great at the same time. The 5 layers have held up to walking thru brush and when stepping through sharp ice. The waders also come in short sizes, perfect for short people who don’t want their waders bagged up by their knees. I would highly recommend these waders!

  49. Kevon Peters (verified owner)

I bought my waders in August, I have been using them often enough that I have filled 2 punch cards. I have been quite satisfied with them since i have used them. My fishing season I still going and will well into feburary and I know they will keep me quite warm since we have had a few days in the 20’s.

  50. Jeremy Kijak

My mom got me a pair of the S14 a couple of years ago for Christmas. I am 6′ and a round 220 (just out of shape not super fat) and the large fit me well. Not bulky and love the way they look. I love the nice big front pocket which on days when I am going for a quick outing I can put a flybox and phone and not worry about a pack. I lived in Northern VA when I received them and now live in NC. I have used them in the summer and have been comfortable on hot days. They look awesome and have been durable. I live hiking to spots and haven’t had any issues. I am a huge fan of theirs and can’t wait to get more gear from Dryft.

  51. Jason Mcclain

I will start by saying that these waders are the most comfortable wader I have worn. They feel very durable and they fit great . Loose enough to move which is a must for me as I am in and out of a kayak everyday I fish which is about 4-5 days a week. The neoprene boots are not to snug to where you couldn’t have thick socks on which I like . They don’t slip at all in your boots. My only gripe is the outer storage picket is not by all means waterproof. Even with zippers up on the hand warmers , whatever you have in there is gonna get wet if your chest high in water. Unfortunately because of this I am not able to hit spots I normally would hit unless I empty this pocket or use a separate waterproof pouch . Other than that they feel great. Don’t know if I got a defective wader but it’s primetime fishing right now and not going to send them in for repair. Really bummer because I was sold the moment I tried them on . Was really hoping to have some new good looking gear on the nootch this year and will probably just order a different set for that. So just keep in mind that pocket will leak but if that’s ok with you I’d say grab them.

  52. Mike (verified owner)

One winter steelhead season in so far on my s14 waders, my first impression was the best fitting waders I have owned.

Spending my days covering lots of miles busting through coastal brush, they are the real deal.

I like them more than the few pairs of simms I have owned, which have always been the benchmark for me.

I’m a dryft guy now, love them. I do think the black looks really sharp, but they do show egg goo really well, haha

  53. Robert Rogliano (verified owner)

This review is for the S14 Adrenaline waders. I’ve had Simms and Orvis and others and they are excellent waders. I bought the dryft waders because of the price. The most important thing for me is that my waders don’t leak. I’ve fished in them almost every day this winter and haven’t had a problem. Knocking on wood. They are comfortable and handwarmer pockets most definitely come in handy. I’m rough on my waders but these are working just fine. Very satisfied so far.

  54. Aaron Beck (verified owner)

Do you like to be comfortable while you’re fishing? Do you want confidence in your waders? I bought the S14 and am happy I did. $249.00 for comfortable waders with plenty of pockets, how can you go wrong? They fit perfectly, nice and snug but plenty of room to move around in. They come with a top quality neoprene wading belt that has some stretch for when you put on and take off your waders. They are not baggy in any areas. As a steelheader I am always walking through blackberries with large thorns and I am impressed at how tough these waders are. Hands down the best waders for your money. I will be buying Dryft waders for the rest of my life. The staff is very responsive with calls and emails. Thank you Dryft for making every fishing trip comfortable.

Awesome product and the customer service is just as good!!!!!! Nick and the staff are very quick to answer questions and get products shipped out. They have a customer for life!!!!

I purchased the bundle with the Adrenalin waders and the Primo wading jacket. Both items have endured use in Washington and Montana whilst pursuing steelhead and trout. Both items are of superior quality and value. Customer service is unmatched as well. I hope to someday visit the headquarters and meet the Draft team in person and congratulate them on their success! I was so impressed with my items, I purchased a pair of Sessions pants for my son … it is likely I will also get a pair of them for myself! Thanks for the great product, prices, and focus on the customer! -Dan Davey

I have been using these waders for bout 3 months now, and all I can say is WOW! I have taken these waders through their paces & have not had one leak or problem yet. I just got back from a cold rainy weekend steelhead fishing in Oak Orchard, NY and did not get wet once. Paired with the Wading Jacket, this setup is worth every penny. Definitely my go to waders company from now on.

  58. Alan Myrick (verified owner)

I did a lot of research before buying a new pair of waders.I wanted waders that I had room in but fit comfortably. The dryft S14 surpassed my expectations. The wading belt worked very well at holding air in while not cutting off circulation. I was concerned about getting hot in dark colored waders and it was at times, but onece I droped off in a stream on the Alaskan Prince of Wales Island I was not concerned anymore. I was very comfortable in my S14’s all day long. Overall a great investment for my fly fishing gear arsenal.

  59. Michael Harmon

It’s been 4 yrs since my purchase and they’re still solid. No leaks and no rips from barnacles. Very happy with this product.

  60. Jacob Deakins (verified owner)

These are amazing waders. The construction is impeccable, the fit and comfort are fantastic. The price point was spot on with features and quality of waders 3X the cost!

  61. Purp (verified owner)

After doing research on line, thought Simms was probably the way to go however after feature to feature comparison, drift held appeal due to cost and represented quality. Upon receipt of the s14’s, I was impressed with quality, customer service was great, delivery fast. Wore these waders on Stillwater fishery last weekend and was extremely happy with purchase. For the cost vs quality conscience, these waders are fabulous. For performance as good as any.

  62. John Tindall (verified owner)

Ordered s14’s Feb 2018 for Pa. fishing. Have worn 20 times in April and May and wear them while driving in my car. So far appear good as new with no issues. Hope they continue to hold up.

  63. Jonah Olsen

Just got my hands on a pair of the S14’s, I have worn everything from Simms and Hodgmans to Frogg Toggs and these take the cake on quality. The true test will be time but so far these waders have done nothing but impress me. Not to mention, the price point is more than reasonable. I’d recommend these waders to anyone from a novice fisherman to a seasoned vet.

  64. Jimmy (verified owner)

These are the first waders I’ve owned. I have tried comparable Simms products when renting through shops and honestly these feel more durable. So far they have held up well between surf fishing and hiking rivers. The value cannot be beat and there is no degradation in quality that I can tell.

  65. Bob Downey (verified owner)

I have only use my S14 waders a couple of times so far. They fit like a glove even while wearing fleece pants. They are heavy duty and compare to more expensive high end waders, a definite bargain. I can’t wait to buy the jacket, waiting for a sale

  66. Jeff Koons

Bought the waders and wading jacket for my trip to New York steelhead fishing and both preformed perfect. I fished in snow and 10 degree weather for 3 days and didn’t get cold or wet. Waders and jacket both fit perfect even with layers of clothes for the cold weather. The size chart is very accurate. The fit and comfort of these waders are top notch and the pockets are perfectly designed. If you are looking for a great pair of waders DRYFT waders are just as good as other comparably waders and less money. Customer service is top notch also. I decided to order the jacket after I already received my waders and needed the jacket in 5 days. I emailed DRYFT on a Saturday and they got back to me in minutes and answered all my questions and made sure the order was processed and shipped.

  67. Jason Buik (verified owner)

If you’re are serious about fishing I wouldn’t even look at any other waders! I used the sizing chart (6ft 3 and 200 pounds) and the large fits perfectly. Winter steelheading on Vancouver island can be pretty lousy with the weather we get but not anymore! All in all a very good product and I would recommend them to anyone.

  68. Kevin Rucker

I’m throughly impressed by my S14’s. The fit is great. In my experience they’re every bit as warm for winter days as my G3’s. They’re tough. Im rough on my gear. Put a few scrapes in them but the scrapes never went all the way through and didn’t leak. The crotch section has started to leak a bit. Happens with every brand. Got around 70 trips out of them and have no bad feelings about ordering a new pair to replace the leaky ones. Overall they’re a great product. Well done.

  69. jonesen003 (verified owner)

i bought the s14 a few months ago, and i love them! i would recommend them to anyone! i fish weekly and they’re holding up perfectly! they feel extremely durable and they fit perfect! i’m 6’0″ tall 185lbs and a size 12 shoe and the large is perfect. my buddy ordered from one of the expensive companies and paid 400$ and is sending them back bc the feet are to small and the top is to baggy. he tried my adrenalines on and now he’s hooked he’s ordering a pair! and before i ordered i had a few question and customer service got right back to and answered all my silly questions with no problems, they were a pleasure to deal with! don’t hesitate and ORDER FROM DRYFT!!!

  70. Jin (verified owner)

The wader feels comfortable, own the s14 for 3 weeks now, it did kept me dry in any weather. BUT the gravel cover started to rip after being only used 3 weekends. AND the gravel hook cut my shoe laces!
    I’m a bit disappointed.

  71. Wes Bender (verified owner)

6’3” 200lbs size 10.5 foot. I have always had trouble finding a wader that fits properly. I usually end up getting a large in order to fit my inseam, and find them way too bulky. And the booty is always a struggle to get on and off my foot. Usually that is where they fail first, from tearing while removing a sweaty foot.
I end up ordering the Large Long and am very pleased with the fit. The booty slides on and off with extreme ease. I couldn’t be more happy about that. The overall fit is comfortable and the material feels bullet proof. These waders are the best I have owned to date and am confident I will get years of service out of them. I already recommended to a close friend so he also purchased them.

  72. Rory J

Very unimpressed. I’ve had for these for two years and used them around 10 times. The gravel guards have fallen apart, I’ve had multiple leaks (several in the first year that required me to send them back). Customer service was good when I sent them back but overall these have been a let down.

  73. Damien Barton (verified owner)

I’ve had my s14s for close to 2 years now and I will never buy a different brand as long as you guys are around. I have beat the hell out of these waders hiked miles in all terrain. I got tired of buying cheap waders and I couldn’t see spending 450 on simms just for the name. Dryft waders are the way to go.

Wanting to update my review. I’ve had my s14’s for over a year and I put nearly 40+ hour a week in them. By far, the best waders I’ve ever owned. I’ve destroyed 2 pairs of high end korkers in he same amount of time yet the waders have been bullet proof!

  75. Bill Brusse (verified owner)

Great waders. Nothing the DRYFT folks or the other customer reviewers say about the waders is an exaggeration. Great fit, materials, and workmanship. All the pockets and the hand warmers are a real plus. The waders also configure easily to a waist height for warmer weather fishing. The waders are head and shoulders better than other waders at twice the price. Keep these folks in business.

  76. Jered Nelson (verified owner)

I have a pair of S14’s and so far I love them. I was fishing a couple north coast rivers over the wknd and with the recent rains things were wet, high, and fast. When getting out of the drift boat i have total confidence in staying dry. I really like the dark color because I am a bait fisherman and I tend to end up wearing a fair amount of eggs by days end. They don’t stand out against the color and wash off easily. Live my new waders

  77. Rob Foreman (verified owner)

Best money ever spent these waders are bulletproof, I primarily use with a float tube they are plenty of storage and handwarmer pockets are legit!!!! I would recommend these to anyone that wants to look their best and stay dry and warm all season.

  78. George

Well after 3 years of owning the best pair of waders I’ve ever owned it’s time for a new pair of Dryfts. For the last 3 years I have beat and tested the s14 waders. From elk hunting, clam digging, running hounds for coons, trapping beavers and Oh yeah also fishing too. These are the best hands down waders on the market to date. After 20 years of winter steelhead fishing in the pacnw and buying a pair of waders every year, I found myself in a pair of these 3 years ago this October. From the mouth of the Columbia to Cape flattery I’ve hit remote waters and put them to the test. I can’t wait to buy a center zip this fall and use them for my first year of guiding winter steelhead. And also I want to give out a big thanks for the customer service, you guys are top-notch

I purchased the S14 Adrenaline Waders a couple of months ago and have been fishing approximately three to five days a week. These waders have held up awesome so far, the waders fit amazing and let you “breathe” or move around accordingly and aren’t restrictive by any means. On cold rainy days they are insulated enough to still keep you warm and the hand warming pouch comes in very handy. Yet, on hot summer days the waders still keep you cool and comfortable. I would recommend these waders to anyone and would definitely buy again.

I ordered my S14 waders late last Sunday and received them the following Thursday, super fast shipping. Took them to my local fly shop to try on boots with them and they were the talk of the shop.
I used the sizing guide on the website and my waders fit perfectly right out of the box. I have yet to get them in the water but I am sure they will perform even better then they look.
Thank you Dryft for providing such a quality product and excellent service at such a resonable price.

  82. Dave (verified owner)

Just got my new waders they fit like a glove. I ‘ am a big boy and they fit great. The shipping was very fast. You will have to sign for them so make sure someone is there when they arrive. I will be on the Deschutes soon, and Montana this summer. Should be the ticket. Very good quality. I really like the belt loops, I lose the belts all the time.

after 20 years on the water and spending thousands on the big name brands, i saw an ad for dryft and i started doing my research. they were a local company, a small company, and a company dedicated to customer service. i went to purchase the s14’s and they were out of stock but a message on the site said they would be back in stock in a few weeks. boy… am i glad i waited. 2 weeks later i contacted the team on their FB page to ask about their fits and got a reply with in about 20 minutes. 2 days later they were in my hands. in the 3 months that ive had them ive put nearly 150 hours into them and they are FANTASTIC! i have countless miles trekking into my favorite NW fishing spots (lots of sticker bushes!) and ive had no issues what so ever.

id also like to add that i was contacted shorty after my purchase to make sure i was satisfied with my purchase. in not someone who is brand loyal but when it comes to Dryft, they will be the only waders i own from now on!

i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND these to any client of mine

cons: only one. i wear a taller boot (korker whitehorse) and the gravel guard needs to start about 1-2″ higher on the leg to get the proper fit.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving this review of our S14 waders! Tight lines!

  84. J. Flaherty (verified owner)

Got my S14’s very quickly. Customer service and communication is great.
I love the fit. As mentioned in previous posts, the leg fit is the best I’ve seen or experienced, not baggy at all.
The 5 layer bottoms feel pretty bulletproof. The waders simply feel to the touch more heavy duty, but without feeling clunky.
The neoprene wading belt is awesome and far superior to nylon. It snugs your waders comfortably without feeling too tight.
The D rings are great to attach a retractor with nippers or hemos.
The waders look really good too.
The only complaint would be the gravel guard tore pretty easily on a chunk of snow already. The material doesn’t seem tough enough.
Overall the best bang for your buck. $220 waders that feel like $400 waders.
Just wish I knew Kraken was on the way before I bought these :-/

Living on the Texas coast and ordering these waders from up north I was definitely skeptical at first. Upon arrival, the waders looked top notch quality and very durable. Since putting these waders through a brutal duck season and winter big trout tournament season, they are still in perfect condition. All printed logos are still in tact, zero leaks, and they clean up very easily. I love how I can adjust the shoulder straps so easily if i’m wading in deeper water and need to tighten them up. The huge front pocket is awesome and allows me to carry some different lures with me without toting a big wading belt around. I look forward to sticking with this company for a long time to come and can’t wait to get my hands on their new wading jacket. Top notch quality so far, and I think it will stay that way!

I Love These Waders! I ordered these and needed them in hurry for a upcoming fishing trip after my second pair of field and streams sprung a leak in less than a month. Needless to say when they arrived on saturday after being ordered on thursday i couldnt be happier. Ive been out in them twice already and am very pleased with the quality and construction. No leaks, fit is very comfortable and they look great. Thank you Dryft for a sick wader!

Following up from my pre-review written in August. Wore them on an unguided 10-day fish/camp/float explosion on the Kanektok.

As I mentioned in my picture comment on FB, performed flawlessly, 10 days x ~17 hours/day. I don’t even think I can say that about my G4s, and that was with making fires and walking through the bush every night to collect wood etc. In and out of the raft countless times, wading through deep and fast water at times. Bone dry. To be honest, over the course of the trip, I spent literally hours getting/keeping fires going, knees grinding into the gravel. I don’t even think waders were meant for that but still not even a pin hole. Great product, phenomenal value. Thanks again.

I loved mine for one season. I abused them tromping through the rivers, making my own trails, getting in and out of the drift boat, and anything else you can think of when it comes to back country winter steelhead fishing.

The cut and style of the waders are great. For the price they are very durable, but I did have to patch them in a couple spots after getting a few leaks. Like I said above though, I did abuse these things.

There however is one big complaint. The gravel guards SUCK! The waders are awesome, but the gravel guards tear with ease. I tore my right one my first time on the river. After one season in these waders I might as well cut the gravel guards off completely. Ultimately I made the switch to Simms, but for the price of these waders, they are truly awesome waders. I wish I didn’t have a leak in them because I’d let them me my loaner paid for the boat.

      Hi Issac,
Thanks for the review and feedback. Glad to hear you’ve been using them to the fullest extent possible. We’ve made a couple changes to design on the the latest 2015 version of the S14 waders, which include an all 5 layer lower from the waist down to increase durability with a heavier duty lower and simplified seam structure in the legs, and we’ve also reinforced the stitching on the gravel guards to make them more durable. Feedback is important to us, so thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
      Tight lines,

Can’t say enough good things about these waders. After cashing in my two year old cheap-o leaky waders, it was time to step up my game. Reviewed the mega bucks brands and could not get myself to spend more than necessary to own a good quality pair of waders. Purchased on a Thursday morning and received the waders the next day (very impressive). Was able to take them down to the river and get some Chinook blood on them. Very comfortable and durable material on these and feel like they will last as long as they are taken care of. Love the built in belt setup and waterproof chest pocket zipper! Trust in Dryft products, they are the real deal with a killer business model and super responsive with their customers.

I have not yet fished them, I will update when I do.

With that said, I feel compelled to write something. I’m headed to AK (two week Kanektok float) in 5 days and recently fished my high-end but heavily worn waders only to find they are leaking in like 7 places. Both feet wet after 2 hours on the river.

I surveyed the interwebs and found DRYFT. I pulled the trigger. I contacted the team to let them know of my predicament. 48 hours later the S14s were in my living room. 1/3rd the price of my high-end leakers. These things are feature packed and look frickin bullet proof.

Phenomenal customer service. Ridiculously fast shipping. Impeccable look, fit and finish.

Thank you to the DRYFT team, looking forward to updating the review in a couple weeks.

These waders are awesome! I’ve owned many different waders including full neoprene’s and I must say, these are just as warm in cold temperatures. I have so much maneuverability in these bad boys I could probably karate kick a fat steelhead in the lip. Keep up the good work and I look forward to the next line of fishing apparel to come out. Tight lines!

  92. Leo

As a bigger person 6’2″ and 315 lbs. It has always been a struggle to find waders that fit correctly. Another problem I run across is very little room in the calf portion of the legs for heavier undergarments for winter fishing (it doesn’t help that the circumference of the calf muscles are 22″) but the S14 waders fit me good, even in my legs and are nice looking waders and keep me warm and dry. I have had many fisherman ask what kind of waders I was wearing while on the river. A++ from me.

  93. Justin (verified owner)

I waited for 2 years too find my next pair of waders and within minutes after seeing these on the website I knew they were the ones for me. I’ve been out 4 times in the 2 weeks I have had them and they are by far the best waders I have ever had. They keep me bone dry from both the water and sweat. The durable construction gives me peace of mind when I am waist deep in frigid New Hampshire rivers. The 2xl is perfect for my 6’2 205lb frame with size 13 feet. I 100% recommend Dryft s14 adrenaline waders.

First off the shipping speed is unreal I ordered them monday and received them on a Wednesday. The first outing I had with them was on the green river in wyoming. The slim fit legs are awesome I would usually walk out of the river with balloon legs in my caddis waders. The booties fit well. All the storage on these is almost enough to not need a pack. The wading belt is a great touch. Having the belt loops makes a huge difference as well. They are very comfortable and easy to move in. Gravel guards stayed put the whole time which is something my old waders never did. I’m very happy with the purchase it was between these and a pair of simms freestones and these had twice the features. I’m glad I went to dryft for my waders. Awesome product guys I’m anticipating the zip up version.

Purchased the S14’s last year and of all the other brands I’ve tried, Dryft’s have been my best pair to date. Short and stocky, their stout sizes fit me perfectly.
Very comfortable and forgiving. You have my highest recommendation!

I ordered my S14 Wader in January and had to wait for a while due to back order. Nick provided excellent customer service and kept me posted with delivery status. When I finally received my wader, immediately I knew it was worth the wait.
The quality of this wader is compatible with a lot of high end waders in the market but Dryft’s are definitely affordable. I only wore it a few times in the summer and only had the chance to truly test the wader out during this fall, in the wet and cold West Coast Vancouver weather. It’s very comfortable and kept me dry.
I would highly recommend Dryft to anyone looking for a great product with a reasonable price.
(Next on my Xmas list…. The Primo Jacket)

So far so good. I’ve had them for a week now and have been in the water with them nearly every day guiding. First trip out with them it was a scorching 35 degrees to start the day. These waders keep me dry and warm. And the hand warmers come in clutch.

Just got back from my first experience in my new S14’s, a week on the Bighorn and they performed flawlessly. They are the most comfortable waders I’ve ever owned. I’m 6’1″ 175 lbs and the ML were a great fit, not too bulky like most other waders I’ve had in the past. Booty size has always been the restrictive feature. I wear size 12 and to get that fit in most other brands I would have to order large or even extra large to get the booty size I needed and then of course I could swim in the waders. Your 10-11 boot size with the ability to go a 1/2 – 1 size up or down was comfortable enough to wear all day long, although I would appreciate a slightly larger booty. Late fall and early spring with extra socks might cramp the feet a bit. The quality of the workmanship appears first rate. If they hold up over time you have a definite winner. I’d highly recommend the S14 Adrenalines.

  100. MIKE HARMON (verified owner)

Best waders i have ever worn. I use them surfcasting for stripers and the fit is perfect. They take up little space when im not using them, so they’re always in my truck for the next session. Great product and great price.

I love these waders. I ordered the S14 adrenaline waders before they were out and had to wait a a bit for them but they were worth the wait! Very comfortable and got lots of looks from my fellow fisherpeople! I passed on the info to them and hopefully they will order a pair. Love them!!

  102. Mark

This is by far my favorite pair of waders. The fit is great and the quality is top notch. I love the fact that you can adjust the waders around the very top for a closer fit. The waterproof pocket is very convenient and the had warmer pockets are great! I see no reason to ever buy another brand. I am that happy with my new drift adrenaline waders. Not to mention the very first time out I landed the first steelhead of the year 10 min into there maiden voyage so I’m thinking that they are my lucky waders aswell:)
There customer service is awesome and they answered all of my questions before I made my purchase. Also shipping is lightning fast! Buy these waders and you won’t be disappointed, especially for $199 bucks!

  103. Greg Gondella

I have been wearing waders for 100+ days for the last 15 years. I’ve probably worn a wader from every company you can think of. After receiving my new adrenalines the first thing I did was try them on , it seems my body style in other waders creates somewhat of a MC Hammer look. My Dryft Adrenalines fit like my favorite pair of jean, no excess, no oversized legs. Length is dead on. Next I checked to see how tight I was gonna have to make the suspenders. Not a single adjustment needed to be made right out of the box. I figured it was to good to be true. I got them in the water, every other pair of waders I have ever owned, I would always get water I call water suck, the legs get so tight it feels like they are gonna cut off circulation. Not in the adrenaline, kept me dry, comfortable, the booties didn’t bunch in my boots. As a competitive fishermen, and a guide. I will forever only wear Dryft Waders. Excellent job guys , keeping coming up with new product. You have a customer for life!!!!

  104. Tara

I am a 5’8 female and the size small waders fit great and are super comfortable with total maneuverability. Not stiff or restrictive at all. I completely recommend these.
