The Primo™ Zip GD wader from DRYFT™ is a top of the line feature packed and stylish addition to the DRYFT™ lineup of outdoor fishing apparel. With upgraded main components and materials, we made our most popular wader more durable, more abrasion resistant, more breathable and more functional.

- Upgraded fabrics for greater breathability and long term durability. New 4L 310gsm lower is 50% more breathable compared to previous model with exceptional abrasion and tear resistance and enhanced bonding strength for greater long term durability.

- Burly German engineered TIZIP® main waterproof zipper. This zipper is found in use on top consumer products ranging from scuba diving gear to rescue equipment and is paired with a front zipper cover flap to help keep dirt and debris out.

- Relaxed fit to allow for layering.
- Eight pockets including the waterproof media pouch and large inner drop in mesh pockets. Four outer zipper pockets (two main and two hand warming) feature YKK® water resistant zippers. Please note that outer pockets are not waterproof and are not submersion rated. Keep your phone sealed in the waterproof media pouch or an inner pocket.

Designed with comfort in mind, the Primo Zip GD waders use a high quality TIZIP® main zipper to help take the production out of mid fishing session bathroom breaks, and makes getting in and out of your favorite pair of waders oh so easy. The strong and durable four-layer lower from the waist down includes a single vertical seam design with seams running up the outside of the legs to eliminate seam abrasion when walking. The burly heavyweight four-layer lower joins a comfortable lighter three-layer upper with plenty of secure storage pockets on the outside and inside, including a media pocket and dual large drop in pockets. Adjustable straps, belt, and upper drawstring let you dial in the fit, and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement. Zippered fleece-lined hand warming pockets double as extra storage, and an adjustable Comfortflex™ semi-stretch wading belt, a nylon webbing non-stretch wading belt, and storage bag are included.
What about staying dry?
Breathable, 20,000mm DWR coated waterproof fabrics combined with double taped seams bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are triple taped throughout the legs to keep the water where the fish are.

I’m on my 3rd. pair of Dryft waders. My first 2 pair of S14 Adrenalines both lasted over 3-4 seasons of real abuse. I fish coastal steelhead streams that are a jungle of brush and berry bushes. I wanted to order my 3rd pair to finish out this last season but they wouldn’t have my size in until May so I went with the Primo Zips that we’re in stock. After using them a mere handful of times my right leg was leaking like sieve and my belly was soaked from a leaky zipper. Contacted Nick and he said he’d get a brand new pair out to me as soon as my size came in in 2 weeks. Only problem was I had a trip to Almanor scheduled in less than a week. Nick sent a pair of last years demo Primos that had only been used once. They arrived in 2 days and when I got home from Almanor my new waders were waiting for me. You tell me where you can get customer service like that.

These are great waders! I’ve had them for a couple of months now and love them. They are thick and durable but also real comfortable. I’m 6′ tall 185lbs and purchased the med tall and they fit perfect! I would highly recommend these waders and the customer service was great! Im a customer for life.

I ordered the waders, as my first waders ever, after doing a lot of Research, Reviews, and learning about how great a product they are… as well as the customer service. I am here to say I am not disappointed one bit. I received my waders and they were a little big on me and I had wished I had ordered a size smaller but I didn’t want to wait to go fishing and I could deal with the slight baggage. After noticing some flaws after the first and couple of outings (leaks) I decided to send customer service an email. Since I was going to send out the waders for warranty purposes I asked if I could exchange the size. I got a quick reply back and they went over the top for me… they sent me my requested size understanding my mistake of ordering the wrong size and sent a return label to send the flawed waders back. The replacement waders are fantastic! No leaks… lives up to everything I have heard and read about the company and product! I will not hesitate to order from them if I want something else.

Having worn, and worn through waders from the biggest names in fishing gear, and some of them not lasting one year (most years I’m on the water 300+ days), I decided to give dryft a go. I’m not disappointed in the least! From hiking into remote brookie streams, guiding on tailwaters for massive browns, and chasing stripers in the salt, these waders are pretty bomb proof so far! They fit better than any brand I have tried, admittedly I never got custom ones from simms, but Dryft offers short legs as an option, and as someone with a long torso and shorter legs I’m very happy they do! No more bunching up and extra material to get caught on things or make excessive noise on those 4 mile abandoned forest road hikes. I definitely see a pair of the wading pants in my future. Way to go Dryft, they are multiple times better than anything orvis has sold, and I worked for them once upon a time. They aren’t just for folks out west, they are great for the amazing tailwaters in Eastern TN, and keep you warm hucking fluff for musky as well!

My waders are, simply put, fabulous. They fit perfectly, have been through a bramble or two with no issues, and don’t leak.

I only recently received my Primo Zip Waders, so I can’t vouch for their longevity. However, based on one outing, I do have a few observations.
The waders are extremely well-made. They fit wonderfully and have the look and feel of a quality product.
And, more importantly, the zipper feature a game-changer for someone with a few years under his belt. I cannot overemphasize how much it enhances my fishing experience to be able to answer the call of nature without taking off half my clothes, bags, etc.

Tons of pockets (almost too many- I can lose things in there!) and the quality of the materials is outstanding. Got these early in the spring on advice from a steelhead fisherman. Absolutely love em!!Light weight fit your body fairly well. None of the crazy bulkiness of some of the big store brands. I was concerned about the lack of bulky insulation. I wore two pair of long underwear in early March in a partially frozen Farmington River. No cold issues.ANDi am a 55 yr old cold winer.Pockets are numerous. Best waders purchase I have ever done
