The Primo™ Zip GD wader from DRYFT™ is a top of the line feature packed and stylish addition to the DRYFT™ lineup of outdoor fishing apparel. With upgraded main components and materials, we made our most popular wader more durable, more abrasion resistant, more breathable and more functional.

- Upgraded fabrics for greater breathability and long term durability. New 4L 310gsm lower is 50% more breathable compared to previous model with exceptional abrasion and tear resistance and enhanced bonding strength for greater long term durability.

- Eight pockets including the waterproof media pouch and large inner drop in mesh pockets. Four outer zipper pockets (two main and two hand warming) feature YKK® water resistant zippers. Please note that outer pockets are not waterproof and are not submersion rated. Keep your phone sealed in the waterproof media pouch or an inner pocket.

Designed with comfort in mind, the Primo Zip GD waders use a high quality TIZIP® main zipper to help take the production out of mid fishing session bathroom breaks, and makes getting in and out of your favorite pair of waders oh so easy. The strong and durable four-layer lower from the waist down includes a single vertical seam design with seams running up the outside of the legs to eliminate seam abrasion when walking. The burly heavyweight four-layer lower joins a comfortable lighter three-layer upper with plenty of secure storage pockets on the outside and inside, including a media pocket and dual large drop in pockets. Adjustable straps, belt, and upper drawstring let you dial in the fit, and flexible knees give freedom of movement allowing you to walk, run, crouch, wade, stumble, and crawl easily without restricted movement. Zippered fleece-lined hand warming pockets double as extra storage, and an adjustable Comfortflex™ semi-stretch wading belt, a nylon webbing non-stretch wading belt, and storage bag are included.
What about staying dry?
Breathable, 20,000mm DWR coated waterproof fabrics combined with double taped seams bring the waterproofing to the next level. To top it off, seam ends and edges are triple taped throughout the legs to keep the water where the fish are.

Primo Zip guide wader- medium long.
I went with the long version because in the past it seems that I will have waders that tear along the sand/gravel guard at the seam. This has fixed that issue for me where I feel constricted and not fighting for movement.
These have been my favorite pair of waders I have fished in. They are very comfy, and have tons of space to hold gear in. I haven’t had any trouble with the waterproof zippers at this point either which was a concern of mine. But it’s a game changer being able to relieve your self with little effort and not having to layer down. The construction is solid and the customer service is down right awesome. I would suggest these to anyone looking to step game up and get into a high quality wader for around half the price. Keep doing your thing DRYFT y’all have something special. I order the new primo zip waders. I had a few questions about size and suggested size for me, I was stuck between a ML and a L. I emailed dryft and asked them for suggestions on which they think would work better for me. Within the hour nick responded to me and I ended up goin with the Large. But the real customer service came when I noticed after the second day my order still wasn’t processed so I emailed nick back and literally within the hour he responded and got my order processed and told he he was going to shipped them overnight for the inconvenience. ( I didn’t email them complain I just wanted to know when my order was going to be processed) but thanks to nick and the dryft team I’m going to get on the water ASAP. I bought a pair of these as a gift for a good friend of mine early 2019. The first time we fished together I got jealous and wanted a pair but did not want to look like twins on the water. Eventually I just gave up on the twins issue and bought a pair a few weeks ago. They fit amazing and you can adjust them in the waist and chest to customize your size and for the weather. I first took them out 3 days straight 10 hours a day and they lived up to my jealousy. Comfortable and enough pockets to hold the gear I needed for the day without having to carry a pack. I have never had a zip front either, but now I will never not have one. It is crucial for the long days. Another plus is the color. I am pretty sick of tan on tan waders that are pretty much the only things available. Keep it up Dryft you guys are gonna change the industry.

I have a small foot 9 1/2, and have trouble finding waders that fit well and don’t have a huge bootie that gets all bunched up in the boot. The zip-front is a godsend for when nature calls. Love that I don’t have to completely disrobe to take a whiz.

GREAT company, GREAT pair of waders! Have had many pairs of waders by different manufactures and no other manufacture can touch the quality and price of these waders! Fit is great and zipper makes releasing the Kraken easy as well as getting on/off the waders. Feel like they are made to last and if for some reason you do have a problem, customer service is TOP NOTCH!!!!! Every email I sent Dryft was answered within an hour. I will continue to buy their products.

I’ve only had the Primo zips for a few weeks now, and I’ve only fished them 4 times, but they seem very tough, and they are quite comfortable. I like my waders on the baggy side because most of my fishing is done in the colder steelhead months, and the XL’s are a good fit for a guy who formerly wore LK in Simms. The only thing I do not like is the bright chartreuse zippers, and I tend to carry everything I need in the pockets, so they get a little full on the inside. Might be time for a pack. I am sure they will bring me a couple dry seasons. As with all waders that get dragged through brush and blackberry brambles, I’m sure they will need patching at some point, and I wish there were some how-to’s online of how to do that with non-GoreTex material.

This is my second set of Dryft waders. The first is 3 years old and not leaking a drop. I fish all summer for trout and all winter for Steelhead, so quality is extremely important. I have been looking for new zip front waders for awhile now. Love Simms but the $850 price tag was too much. A friend told me about Dryft, so I started looking. Talked to Nick at Drfyt a few times and decided to try them out. I got the combo Primo Zip Front and the SEEKR Wading Pants. The fit and finish is top shelf, fit perfectly and have performed flawlessly, not to mention the price was right. The combo was $100 less than just the Simms. I will not go back to the big two, thats for sure.

I cannot say enough about the quality of Dryft gear and the level of their customer service. They stand behind their products and take care of their customers. I am not one to leave reviews for anything but based on my interactions with this company, their products, and their team, it is 100% necessary. I have used the original zip front waders for around 4 years now. I wore them in the deserts of Arizona hiking into rivers and streams through palo verde trees and cactus. I wore them throughout Missouri hiking through thick brambles and brush. And I have used them extensively throughout idaho chasing trout, steelhead, and salmon around sharp and jagged rocks and all sorts of thorny berry and rose bushes and these things have held up. I had a hiccup with the zipper and these guys were right on it and helped me get back on the water. If you are reading this and are in the market for waders, these are the ones to choose. They have every bit of quality of any of the big name brands if not more and they are offered at a fraction of the cost. These guys and these products are incredible.
